3. Who am I?
• The wolverine is 26-
41 inches long.
• It’s tail is 17-26
centimeters long.
• It lives from 7-12
years. It is brown.
• It is the largest
member of the
weasel family.

4. The Early Years
 The wolverines
gestation period is 30-
50 days.
 2-3 kits are born at one
time.
 They weigh about 84
grams
 They are white.
 They are weaned at
about 9-10 weeks.
 When they are born
their eyes are closed.

5. Habitat Sweet Habitat
Wolverines live in
dens amongst roots
and rocks. They
have a very large
home range. The
males territory
sometimes overlaps
the females
territory.

Wolverines eat
mostly meat. They
eat deer, hare,
rodents, birds, eggs,
carrion, and
seasonal fruits. They
are omnivores.

Wolverine’s feet
have pads on the
bottom of their feet.
Their claws are
large, so they can
walk through heavy
snow.
