The document discusses the four comings of Christ: 1) His birth in Bethlehem, which received hostile, indifferent, and worshipful responses. 2) His coming in believers through salvation. 3) His coming at death to receive believers. 4) His future second coming when He will physically return as He ascended. It also recounts Simeon's prophecy over baby Jesus and a quote emphasizing that heaven feels near for those who have lost loved ones there. The four comings are listed as establishing Christ's past, present, and future interactions with humanity.

The document references Genesis 2:7 which describes how God formed man from dust and breathed life into him. It also references Philippians 3:20-21 which discusses having citizenship in heaven and awaiting the transformation of the body by Jesus Christ through his power. The document appears to be memorializing someone named Hazyl Joan.
Genesis is divided into two main sections - chapters 1-11 covering creation to the Tower of Babel, and 12-50 covering the patriarchs Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. It begins with God creating the heavens and the earth in six days and ends with Joseph's body being taken back to Canaan. Key people and events included Adam and Eve, the fall of man, Noah and the flood, the Tower of Babel, God's covenant with Abraham, the stories of Isaac being offered as a sacrifice and Jacob wrestling with God.
This document discusses the biblical prophecies about and fulfillment of Jesus Christ's birth. It describes how sin entered the world through Adam, but God provided salvation through Jesus. Several Old Testament prophecies foretold that the Messiah would be born of a virgin in Bethlehem, and come humbly. Angels then announced to shepherds and Mary/Joseph that Jesus would be born, with his birth arranged through the Roman census. Jesus's birth in the manger fulfilled these prophecies, and the shepherds went to spread the word about the Savior.

3) The second eagle is identified as Pharaoh Hophra of Egypt, and the sermon warns about making alliances with other nations instead of relying on God.
4) However, the passage is ultimately interpreted as a messianic prophecy about Jesus Christ establishing a new spiritual kingdom and covenant for all nations.
This document discusses how God is a refuge, strength, and source of peace and power according to several Bible passages. It references Psalms and other books that describe God protecting cities and ending wars, as well as God dwelling among his people as their fortress. The document encourages being still and knowing that God is God, trusting in him rather than self-help, and finding intimacy with God during times of trouble.

God made several covenants throughout the Bible, including the covenant with Noah after the flood to never destroy the earth with water again. This was a unilateral covenant where God promised something without requiring anything in return from humanity. God also made covenants with Abraham and at Mount Sinai with the Israelites. However, these covenants were imperfect and temporary. The new covenant established by Jesus's death through his blood is the eternal covenant that fulfills all previous covenants by providing forgiveness of sins for those who accept it by faith.

God's love is amazing, just, and true. God is love itself. God's love extends to all people everywhere and at all times. God sent Jesus to die for our sins so we could be saved and restored to fellowship with God through faith, repentance, confession, baptism, and faithful living. God's love is the greatest motivation for how we should live.
The document discusses Jesus taking Peter, James, and John up a mountain where he was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun and his clothes became as bright as light. Moses and Elijah appeared and spoke with Jesus. From this, the document draws connections to Jesus' future coming in glory as the Son of Man in his kingdom, as promised in the Bible. It also references how Jesus, Moses, and Elijah represent victory over death and the resurrection hope for believers.
This document contains a summary of the Christian doctrine of universal reconciliation from several biblical passages and theological perspectives. It discusses Romans 11:1-2a and 29-32, with scholars arguing that Paul intends the word "all" in verse 32 to mean a universal salvation of all people. While affirming traditional Christian beliefs, it presents the view that God will ultimately save and restore all people through mercy, though judgment remains for sin. The closing prayer reflects the theme of God embracing all people.

II. A voice from a cloud proclaimed "This is my Son, whom I have chosen; listen to him." Jesus alone was identified as the leader they should listen to.
III. The transfiguration reinforced that Jesus would suffer and die but ultimately be resurrected, and it highlighted him as the fulfillment of the law and the prophets.
This document outlines the details of a worship festival from January 1-7 from 7:30-9:30pm each night. It discusses the need for Christians to go out into the world and be witnesses to expand God's kingdom through soul winning. Several Bible passages are referenced that talk about leaving one's family to follow God's call, being salt and light in the world, and having a new mind, talk and walk. The goal is for Christians to change in order to effectively reach more people and territories for God.
God was originally the king of Israel and gave them the law at Mount Sinai, instructing them to be a holy nation set apart from others. However, when the Israelites entered the promised land they were tempted by the customs of the native peoples. After a period of judges, the people demanded a human king like the other nations had, despite God wanting to remain their king. Samuel warned them about the consequences of a king but the people insisted.
This document provides an overview of events for a church in April and May, including moving from their current building to a new one, preparations for the new building like painting, and important services like a baptism and first Sunday service at the new location. It also includes some biblical passages about transitioning to follow God's direction and having faith in challenging changes.
The document describes how an angel appeared to Joseph in a dream and told him not to be afraid to take Mary as his wife, as the child conceived in her was from the Holy Spirit. Mary would give birth to a son named Jesus, who would save his people from their sins, fulfilling a prophecy. It also describes how Jesus, though God, became human and was born as a man in order to take away human sins through his death and sacrifice. All will one day acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God.
Jesus came to earth as a King. He offers to reign in the lives of believers until He returns to Earth and reigns forever. Christians who surrender control of their lives have the privilege of experiencing a taste of God's Kingdom - Heaven on Earth.

The document summarizes key points from the book of Joel in the Bible. It discusses how Joel addresses a national disaster in Judah from locust plagues and drought. This leads the people to repent and call on God. God promises to pour out his spirit on all people. The text also references how Joel's prophecies look forward to the latter rain outpouring of the Holy Spirit at the end of times and God's judgment in the valley of decision. It emphasizes that whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved and invites the reader to study more lessons on seeking God.
The document discusses the spirit world and angels. It mentions that Hebrews 11 lists heroes of faith from the Old Testament and Hebrews 12:1 refers to these people as witnesses watching over believers. It also discusses that some angels are assigned as guardian angels to watch over people for their entire lives, and others are sent on special assignments to aid those in need, as referenced in stories from Daniel. While the spiritual world is difficult for humans to fully understand due to our limited perspective, learning more about it through the Bible helps reveal more of God's spiritual realities.
Journey through the Bible 5 - Numbers: Crisis in the DesertResurrection Church
The document summarizes key events from the book of Numbers in the Bible. It describes how the Israelites rebelled against God and Moses during their journey in the desert by complaining. God punished them by making them wander in the desert for 38 years until the rebellious generation died off. The Israelites faced crises of lack of food and water, and were attacked by poisonous snakes at one point. However, when they repented, God provided a way of salvation through Moses lifting up a bronze snake on a pole for the people to look at and be healed. The document connects this to Jesus, saying he was "lifted up" on the cross to save all who believe in him from the punishment of sin.

The Kingdom of God is the reign of God descending in and through King Jesus to a broken and bent world.
This message was given on November 30, 2014 at New City Church in Calgary by Pastor John Ferguson. For more info: www.newcitychurch.ca
Jesus Christ is the firstborn over all creation and all things were created by him and for him. God fills believers with joy and pleasures. God has removed sins as far as the east is from the west. Believers should live in a way that pleases God by bearing good fruit, growing in knowledge, and doing what scripture says. God's power at work within believers can do more than anyone can ask or imagine. Christians should love one another because love comes from God. God's faithfulness and mercies are new every morning. All of heaven, earth, and seas praise God.
Deuteronomy teaches that God commands people to love strangers as a reflection of His own love. It gives three reasons why people should love strangers: 1) Because God loves them and provides for them, 2) Because the Israelites were once strangers in Egypt, and 3) To treat strangers fairly and with care, as God does. Loving strangers involves having compassion for their difficulties, identifying with them, and ensuring equal treatment under the law.
The document discusses the power and might of God/Jesus through several Bible passages. It asserts that Jesus is the Mighty God and that nothing is too hard for God. It then discusses how God's power is at work in believers, giving them strength and enabling them to do God's will. God's power is greatest when people are weak. Finally, it notes that believers will receive power from the Holy Spirit to be witnesses for Jesus everywhere.
The document describes characteristics of the Millennial reign that will occur after the Second Coming of Christ but before the eternal state. It will be a time of righteousness and peace on earth, likened to the Garden of Eden. The land and heavens will be renewed. Christ and the saints will reign from Jerusalem and judge the nations with justice. Animals will live in harmony and people will live long lives without disease or war. Knowledge of God will cover the earth and the saints will travel swiftly to teach the nations. This finite reign will end when Christ subjects the kingdom to God the Father.
The Signs of Jesus' Coming and the End of the times part1Van Nagac
The document discusses several signs that will precede the coming of Jesus Christ and the end times according to passages from the Bible. It mentions an increase in earthquakes and wars according to prophecy in the books of Timothy and Matthew. Additionally, it warns of a rise in false prophets and a falling away from the faith. These signs indicate that Christ's return is near.

It mentions an increase in earthquakes and wars according to prophecy in the books of Timothy and Matthew. Additionally, it warns of a rise in false prophets and a falling away from the faith. These signs indicate that Christ's return is near.
This sermon discusses the biblical promises and prophecies regarding Israel and the Jewish people. It argues that God's promises to Israel, including the promise of the land of Israel, should be taken literally rather than figuratively. It cites several Old Testament passages that it says predict Israel's spiritual restoration and regathering in the land prior to the Messianic age. The sermon teaches that "all Israel will be saved" refers to a future mass conversion of Jews to Christianity at the end of the tribulation period just before Christ's return.
The document provides an in-depth analysis of the parable of the treasure hid in a field and the pearl of great price from Matthew 13. It argues that in both parables:
- The "man" refers to God/Christ
- The "treasure" refers to Israel as God's chosen people
- The "field" refers to the world
- Christ "purchased" the field/world by shedding his blood on the cross to redeem Israel and all humanity.
The analysis uses numerous scripture references to support interpreting the parables as portraying God's plan to redeem and restore Israel through sending his son Jesus Christ.
The document discusses God's promises and blessings for those who obey Him as outlined in Deuteronomy 28. It notes that God promises to bless believers in the city and country, with fruitful families and livestock, full baskets and prosperity in all they do. Enemies will be defeated as believers are established as God's holy people and all nations will see God's favor upon them. God will grant abundant provision, rain for crops, and make believers the head and not the tail through His righteousness. The conclusion offers a prayer declaring these blessings.
The document is a sermon based on passages from the book of Jeremiah. It discusses how Jeremiah prophesied that God would bring the Israelites back from exile and restore them to their land. God promises to rebuild Israel and Judah, and bring them abundant peace, prosperity, and joy. The Israelites would once again plant vineyards, and their cities would be filled with the sounds of celebration, dancing, and people giving thanks to God. God expresses his enduring love for Israel and his desire to heal, forgive, and restore them to a right relationship with him.
1) The document references Genesis chapters 1-3 which describe the creation of earth and heaven, the garden of Eden, and Adam and Eve being placed there.
2) It then discusses the tree of life in Eden and references being cast out of the garden to till the ground.
3) Several passages reference Jerusalem as being at the center of the earth and the earth being divided into nations based on the number of God's people.
Names and titles of the lord - prince of peacePaul Fuller
This document is the agenda for a Bible class discussing names and titles of Jesus Christ, focusing on him as the Prince of Peace. The summary discusses how Jesus will bring peace both presently and in the future, referencing several Bible passages that describe a future time of peace and prosperity under Jesus' kingdom when he returns. It also notes how there was little peace in 1st century Judea and references Jesus weeping over Jerusalem's lack of recognition that he was their Prince of Peace.
Sermon 11 of 26 in a series of Old Testament Vistas. This sermon on Deuteronomy was presented January 9, 2011, at Palm Desert Church of Christ, by Dale Wells
This document provides an overview of biblical passages related to God's promises and covenants with Israel and the Jewish people. It discusses the concept of replacement theology versus a literal interpretation of biblical prophecies concerning Israel. The key points are:
1) Several passages prophesy that a remnant of Israel will come to faith in the end times and be restored to the land of Israel, fulfilling God's promises to Abraham.
2) Romans 11 indicates Israel remains distinct from the church, and God's calling and promises to Israel are "irrevocable."
3) Ezekiel, Zechariah, and other prophets describe Israel's spiritual and geographic restoration in the end times through God pouring out his spirit on

This document discusses the differences between the kingdom of heaven and the church. It provides biblical references to support the position that the kingdom of heaven refers to Christ's future earthly kingdom during the Millennium, while the church refers to believers in the current church age. Key points made include that the kingdom will be a physical, earthly kingdom where salvation is based on works, while the church is a spiritual body entered by faith. The document also examines multiple passages in Matthew that reference the kingdom of heaven to argue they are referring to Christ's future earthly reign.
King Solomon loved many foreign women and held fast to them, taking 700 wives and 300 concubines. His wives turned Solomon's heart away from the Lord. God was angry with Solomon and said He would tear the kingdom from Solomon's son because Solomon did not keep God's commandments. However, God promised that He would not do it in Solomon's days, but would give one tribe to Solomon's son for the sake of His servant David.
This document discusses 24 topics related to biblical prophecy and end times events, including:
1. The rapture of the church and escape from the tribulation.

The document discusses that the Bible is the most reliable source for truth about the future because:
1) The Bible claims authority as the word of God and was authored by men who spoke from God.
2) The Bible has the greatest reliability based on the number of manuscripts and how close they are to the originals, as well as being correct archaeologically and scientifically.
3) The Bible has 100% accuracy in prophecies about Christ and the destruction of Tyre and Sidon, demonstrating it can foretell the future. Studying end times helps believers prepare for Christ's return and eternity.

It seems that current missionary work requires spending a lot of money, preparing a lot of materials, and traveling to far away places, so that it feels like missionary work. But what was the result they brought back? It's just a lot of photos of activities, fun eating, drinking and some playing games. And then we have to do the same thing next year, never ending. The church once mentioned that a certain missionary would go to the field where she used to work before the end of his life. It seemed that if she had not gone, no one would be willing to go. The reason why these missionary work is so difficult is that no one obeys God’s words, and the Bible is not the main content during missionary work, because in the eyes of those who do not obey God’s words, the Bible is just words and cannot be connected with life, so Reading out God's words is boring because it doesn't have any life experience, so it cannot be connected with human life. I will give a few examples in the hope that this situation can be changed. A375

2. Deuteronomy 30:19 (NIV) This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live. Jesus is the greatest of God's blessings Are you aware of your blessings as descendants of Abraham ?
3. Jeremiah 17:5-8 (NIV) This is what the LORD says: “ Cursed is the one who trusts in man, who draws strength from mere flesh and whose heart turns away from the LORD. That person will be like a bush in the wastelands; they will not see prosperity when it comes. They will dwell in the parched places of the desert, in a salt land where no one lives. “ But blessed is the one who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.” Withstand, do not Withhold
4. 2 Tim 1:7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. Mark 11:23 For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he say. Are you aware of what you are thinking and saying now? What will you be thinking and saying in a time of famine and drought ?

Let all these rest on the head of Joseph, on the brow of the prince among his brothers.”
7. Deuteronomy 33:18-19 About Zebulun he said: “ Rejoice, Zebulun, in your going out, and you, Issachar, in your tents. They will summon peoples to the mountain and there offer the sacrifices of the righteous; they will feast on the abundance of the seas, on the treasures hidden in the sand.”
8. Deuteronomy 33:24-25 About Asher he said: “ Most blessed of sons is Asher; let him be favored by his brothers, and let him bathe his feet in oil. The bolts of your gates will be iron and bronze, and your strength will equal your days.
