2. Who they are and what they
do.
 Warner Music Group is home to a collection of the finest
labels in the music industry as well as Warner/Chappell
music, one of the worlds prominent publishers with a record
of 1million + copyrights worldwide.
 Our recorded music business includes our growing artist
services business, which offers artist management,
merchandising, touring, fan clubs, VIP ticketing,
sponsorships and brand endorsements, and numerous third-
party solutions that facilitate the sale of music-based content
directly to consumers.

3. History Of WMG.
 In 1958 WMG was founded as Warner Bros. records. In
1971 it became WEA (Warner Elektra Atlantic) and finally in
2004 it became WMG (Warner Music Group) as we know it
today.
 Over the years WMG has had 6 different owners including
Time Warner and Warner Communications.
 In the late 1980s, another big change happened when WMG
merged with Time Corporation, giving birth to media
conglomerate Time Warner
