8. Stating purpose – In order to
- “In order to” is used to express purpose. It answers the
question “Why” and is usually followed by a “verb” in its
simple form
- The expression in order is never followed by “for”
- The use of “for” can be used to express purpose, but it is
usually followed by a “noun”
