Project visits are conducted to build relationships between agents and 4-H families, check on livestock project progress, and ensure proper production practices. The goals are to offer assistance to families and provide educational opportunities. Agents look at feed, water, health, facilities, and production practices. Project visits allow agents to get to know families and youth, learn about their needs, and provide suggestions for improvement, while showing support. They are beneficial for agents and volunteers to learn and become more successful in their roles.
