To create a traffic park in order to develop pedagogical strategies that will help the children and young kids, at the Canaverales International School, as well as the children from the other schools in Yumbo, promote a campaign of safe mobility in our roads and streets. To emphasize preventing accidents and promoting safe habits and a save behaviors in the road. To try and lower the number of casualties due to wrong human behavior.
Running under the motto “Act safely at level crossings” the railway community, in conjunction with a small but rising number of road sector organisations and in conjunction with the European Commission and the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE), has established the ILCAD campaign to raise awareness among road users and pedestrians of the risks at level crossings and to change their behaviour.

Nowadays, when more than half of the world’s population lives in urban areas, when information and (mobile) communication technologies are real catalysts for innovations in all domains, there are a lot of studies and debates related to how our cities should become "Smart Cities", "Smarter Cities" or "Future Cities", in order to improve life quality and to reduce costs, to become a “Smart Learning City”. The paper reviews the definitions of the term "Smart City" and to the strategies required for such a transformation. The new citizens will have vital roles in building smart cities; they should be hyperconnected, creative, entrepreneurs, also they should actively participate and collaborate in the cities’ activities and decisions. Thus, the main purpose of this paper is to focus on how e-Learning, Social Media, OERs and MOOCs can support the citizens’ learning communities, as well as the development of new skills and competencies, proposing a framework for scenarios of Learning Communities in Smart Cities, starting from four Case Studies.

Safe Social Media project 2011 (PPT presentation, april 14th, Vienna)InterMedia Consulting
The Overall Goal of Safe Social Media is:
Reduce exposure to violence for children and adolescents through Social Media
In order to solve the risk related with the Social Media we have created Safe Social Media an educational project “to navigate without drowning”.
Our efforts will be oriented to create an online network of youth organizations, educational institutions, parents associations, media companies and other stakeholders, in order to establish a multidirectional and intergenerational dialogue on these issues.
The specific objectives of the project are:
a) Improved awareness of children, parents and teachers towards the use of Internet and the social media (social networks, online videogames, etc.). This objective will be reached through the implementation of the education campaign in schools, as described in workstream 3. Indicators of results: 5.000 teenagers; 120 teachers; about 2.000 parents
b) Reduced impact of the violence on teenagers when they access social media, thanks to a more responsible and creative usage of social media positive opportunities;
c) Empowering parents and teachers as major resources for the education of the adolescents to the use of Social media;
d) Identification of common indicators for the assessment of European educational programmes and awareness raising campaigns against media violence to be implemented in schools and families;
e) Reinforced cooperation between the schools of the two countries in the fight against violence on Social media, by adopting a common educational programme and a system of exchange of best practices. The main ambition is the appointment, in each region, of one school as "regional awareness node" with the scope of coordinating the cooperation of the other regional schools within the educational strategy on the sector.
f) Improved scientific and technical knowledge on the education on violence on Social media

Presentation of Nexthamburg and one of its projects - Bremen on the move - on the Informed cities forum in Rotterdam, 26.03.2015 (http://informed-cities.iclei-europe.org/)
This presentation was prepared within framework of the international training course ’’MediaED Lab’’. 8-days training course "MediaED LAB" took place from 07.05.2012 to 16.05.2012 and connected 26 young professionals who are working to advance media literacy among youth - the ability to interpret, understand and evaluate media and its messages and to produce media content. "MediaED LAB" aims to create critical, knowledgeable and responsible leaders of creative and media education, capable of initiating, developing and embedding new understandings and techniques in their learning space. Information about state of media education in different European countries was shared and participants learnt and exchanged methods, tools and strategies that can be used to develop and implement media literacy workshops and courses for pupils, the most vulnerable consumers of media. Project took place in Latvia and involved non-governmental organizations working in the field of media education from Slovakia, Czech Republic, Romania, Bulgaria, Greece, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Slovenia and France.
This project has been funded with support from the European Commission. This presentation reflects the views only of the author, and the Commission cannot be held responsible for any use which may be made of the information contained therein.

It seems that current missionary work requires spending a lot of money, preparing a lot of materials, and traveling to far away places, so that it feels like missionary work. But what was the result they brought back? It's just a lot of photos of activities, fun eating, drinking and some playing games. And then we have to do the same thing next year, never ending. The church once mentioned that a certain missionary would go to the field where she used to work before the end of his life. It seemed that if she had not gone, no one would be willing to go. The reason why these missionary work is so difficult is that no one obeys God’s words, and the Bible is not the main content during missionary work, because in the eyes of those who do not obey God’s words, the Bible is just words and cannot be connected with life, so Reading out God's words is boring because it doesn't have any life experience, so it cannot be connected with human life. I will give a few examples in the hope that this situation can be changed. A375
