Certified Company. Our areas of business include Drilling and
Completion/Workover Fluids, Filtration, Pitless Drilling Services,
Drilling Waste Management, Solid Control, Mud Chemicals,
Production Chemicals and Engineering Services.

Our head office is located at Bangalore, India. Our project offices at
Ahmedabad, Chhatral for operations back up of western region
and at Durgapur, West Bengal for operations back up of eastern
region. We have our API grade Barite manufacturing facility at
Cudappa, AP and API Grade Mud Chemicals manufacturing facility
at Chhatral, Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India. Petropath's state of art
Engineering division located at Andra Pradesh, cater to oil field and
mining needs of Filter Units, Oilfield consumables, Solids Control
Equipments, Effluent Treatment Plant etc.

• ABOUT SCOPE OF WORK:
• Cairn is awarded contract to Petropath to set up, operate and maintain a package to treat the evaporation
pond water and make it to meet the specifications of injection water as specified below. The final package
should be designed to generate at least 300-350 m3 of water per day. The treated water will be taken into
custody by Cairn and linked to process or injection water system. The system for water treatment should be
designed in such a manner to balance the required specification with minimum reject from the various
stages. The outlet water must be continuously monitored using an online O2 analyzer. In case the required
specification is not met the water should be recycled back to the treatment unit or pond. At the downstream
of the treatment unit a flow meter should be installed just before transferring the custody of water at the
battery limit of Cairn.

transfer heavy sludge for further
processes.

• MULTISTAGE SAND AND CARBON FILTERS
filters provide crystal clear water of turbidity level less than 2 to 3 mg/liter on
silica scale. Horizontal and vertical filters will be available in a complete range of
sizes from 25m 3 /hr. Normal filtering medium employed is clean sieved grade
quartz and fine sand. The filters are manufactured in MS and FRP .

• TUBE SETTELING UNIT
Solids/ Sludge from the water will be conveyed to the vertical direction through tube
settler hindered to pushed to move downward. Solids collected at bottom will be dried
with filter press.

FLOCCULATION UNIT ( DEWATERING /SLUDGE UNIT)
Sludge unit, through coagulants and flocculants technology to make the ultra fine particles(≤2microns) to aggregate into
large mass ,then segregation done by filter press.
Max handling Capacity: 25 m3/hr
Four Steps to do the dewatering job
1. Total 3 SS Tanks for chemical Solutions
2.Coagulation process to increase the tendency of small particles
3.Flocculation to aggregate the ultra fine particles into larger mass.
4. Tube settler and filter press separation to remove the flocculated solids.

PRELIMANORYTREATMENT UNITAND OIL
SKIMMER
• PRELIMANORY TREATMENT UNIT AND OIL SKIMMER unit designed to remove bigger particle and Oil &
Grease.
Filter Press for Sludge
Sludge from ETP unit is pressed in the filter press to get completely dried cakes and fresh water obtained is treated
in RO Unit.
Industrial RO Unit
Effluent treated in M-ETP and clear water from Filter Press are further treated in Reverse Osmosis (RO) Unit to obtain
the final product water as required by the Pollution control boards.

Tanks for storage of drilling mud for dewatering process
Transfer pumps
Progressive Cavity Pumps, Submersible Slurry Pumps and
Wilden pumps of different capacities are used to handle
solids and liquids in different stages/cases.

  • 4. 4 350 KLD ETP Contract number – Rajasthan / 4600011687 • ABOUT SCOPE OF WORK: • Cairn is awarded contract to Petropath to set up, operate and maintain a package to treat the evaporation pond water and make it to meet the specifications of injection water as specified below. The final package should be designed to generate at least 300-350 m3 of water per day. The treated water will be taken into custody by Cairn and linked to process or injection water system. The system for water treatment should be designed in such a manner to balance the required specification with minimum reject from the various stages. The outlet water must be continuously monitored using an online O2 analyzer. In case the required specification is not met the water should be recycled back to the treatment unit or pond. At the downstream of the treatment unit a flow meter should be installed just before transferring the custody of water at the battery limit of Cairn.

  • 7. 7 SCREW CONVEYORS Heavy Duty Screw Conveyors used to transfer heavy sludge for further processes.
  • 8. 8 • MULTISTAGE SAND AND CARBON FILTERS filters provide crystal clear water of turbidity level less than 2 to 3 mg/liter on silica scale. Horizontal and vertical filters will be available in a complete range of sizes from 25m 3 /hr. Normal filtering medium employed is clean sieved grade quartz and fine sand. The filters are manufactured in MS and FRP .
  • 9. 9 • TUBE SETTELING UNIT Solids/ Sludge from the water will be conveyed to the vertical direction through tube settler hindered to pushed to move downward. Solids collected at bottom will be dried with filter press.
  • 10. 10 FLOCCULATION UNIT ( DEWATERING /SLUDGE UNIT) Sludge unit, through coagulants and flocculants technology to make the ultra fine particles(≤2microns) to aggregate into large mass ,then segregation done by filter press. Max handling Capacity: 25 m3/hr Four Steps to do the dewatering job 1. Total 3 SS Tanks for chemical Solutions 2.Coagulation process to increase the tendency of small particles 3.Flocculation to aggregate the ultra fine particles into larger mass. 4. Tube settler and filter press separation to remove the flocculated solids.

  • 13. Filter Press for Sludge Sludge from ETP unit is pressed in the filter press to get completely dried cakes and fresh water obtained is treated in RO Unit.
  • 14. Industrial RO Unit Effluent treated in M-ETP and clear water from Filter Press are further treated in Reverse Osmosis (RO) Unit to obtain the final product water as required by the Pollution control boards.
