We are super excited that our big field trip to Ft.
Worth is THIS THURSDAY!!!
A few things to remember:
Be in the cafeteria at 7:30 am.
Wear a red (Lorena, if possible) shirt and comfy
walking shoes.
Bring your sack lunch and drink. (or make sure
you ordered one on your field trip note if not)
Parents are welcome but must provide their own
transportation. If you have not already paid,
you will need to pay $7 to the office of the
Stockyards when you arrive.
Students are encouraged to ride the bus to Ft.
Worth on the buses, but parents may sign their
students out while at Ft. Worth.
Students may bring activities for the bus ride
to Ft. Worth. (It will be left on the bus while
we are at the Stockyards.)
If you signed up to provide snacks or drinks I
will be contacting you ASAP!
Bring a great attitude because it will be fun!!
Our Student Spotlight this week is Jesleigh Norman!
Jesleigh has done a great job in 4th grade this year!
Congrats Jesleigh!
We will continue to work on “Stepping Up to Fifth
Grade” this week while we review some of the con-
cepts we have learned this year. We are also contin-
uing to work on our “Lorena Water Park Project” this
week. The students are really excited about making
a “blue-print” of their very own water park! This
project is also encompassing a lot of concepts we
have learned this year.
