This document provides an overview of lessons and activities for January 8-11. It will include a review of expository writing and comparing it to narrative writing. In math, students will begin Topic 10 on fraction concepts, including equivalent fractions. Students should study their multiplication facts in preparation for Beat the Facts starting the following week. The document also provides the teacher's contact information and assigns the story "How Night Came from the Sea" for the week.
