Pre-production Assessment
Locations
• The only locations I will be capable of producing my project will be
in the college areas with computers that have access to the Adobe
Creative Cloud, or more specifically Photoshop, and on my home
computer at my dad’s house. The major present obstacle is that I’m
only at my dad’s half of every week, so cannot work throughout all
my time at home. To minimize this loss, I will do more work while at
my dad’s and go back there for a few hours after college days or on
weekends so I can maximize my production time. During college I
not only have several sessions per day to work, but can also spend
breaks or lunches on it, and come in on Thursdays and Fridays,
using the computers in the numerous hubs and libraries around
college to work with less distractions in a college environment.
Equipment
• The college classroom computers are Apple Macs, running on Big Sur
systems, 24 inch screens, with Apple M1 chips, 2021 models and 8GB of
RAM. This kit is available for me to use during my in-college sessions on
Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
• My home computer runs on the Windows 10 Pro operating system version
21H1, has 8GB of RAM and is available to me whenever I am at my dad’s
for however long I need it, making it the most easily accessible device I
can use for the FMP.
Facilities
• I will be creating each individual page and spread from my computer at
home and during my delegated time in college for creating the pages and
double page spread. Photoshop and the entire creative cloud are all
available on the college Macs, but I will need to purchase photoshop for
my PC at least to be able to work on the project from home, which may be
vital to the project’s success. Most of my work at home will be done in the
evenings after coming home from college or in the nights following.
Personnel
• The only personnel that will be working on the project is myself, and as
such the times I can work will be entirely revolving around myself and my
own capabilities. This mostly includes the total 13.5 session hours in
college, but I can work through tutorial occasionally, work after session
ends on Tuesday and through my free on Wednesday to bring the college
total to 18 hours. Added on to that is any of my free time at home that I
am willing to put aside to work on the project.

Organisational Planning
Locations
• The only locations necessary for the production are the available rooms in
college and my home, where I can use my own PC. The college is
accessible from 9-5 on all weekdays, and my home is accessible at any
time I am at my dad’s house which is usually Wednesday-Saturday, but I
can go there on other days to work if necessary for project completion.

To minimize this loss, I will do more work while at my dad’s and go back there for a few hours after college days or on weekends so I can maximize my production time. During college I not only have several sessions per day to work, but can also spend breaks or lunches on it, and come in on Thursdays and Fridays, using the computers in the numerous hubs and libraries around college to work with less distractions in a college environment.
  • 4. Equipment • The college classroom computers are Apple Macs, running on Big Sur systems, 24 inch screens, with Apple M1 chips, 2021 models and 8GB of RAM. This kit is available for me to use during my in-college sessions on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. • My home computer runs on the Windows 10 Pro operating system version 21H1, has 8GB of RAM and is available to me whenever I am at my dad’s for however long I need it, making it the most easily accessible device I can use for the FMP.
  • 5. Facilities • I will be creating each individual page and spread from my computer at home and during my delegated time in college for creating the pages and double page spread. Photoshop and the entire creative cloud are all available on the college Macs, but I will need to purchase photoshop for my PC at least to be able to work on the project from home, which may be vital to the project’s success. Most of my work at home will be done in the evenings after coming home from college or in the nights following.
  • 6. Personnel • The only personnel that will be working on the project is myself, and as such the times I can work will be entirely revolving around myself and my own capabilities. This mostly includes the total 13.5 session hours in college, but I can work through tutorial occasionally, work after session ends on Tuesday and through my free on Wednesday to bring the college total to 18 hours. Added on to that is any of my free time at home that I am willing to put aside to work on the project.

  • 16. Locations • The only locations necessary for the production are the available rooms in college and my home, where I can use my own PC. The college is accessible from 9-5 on all weekdays, and my home is accessible at any time I am at my dad’s house which is usually Wednesday-Saturday, but I can go there on other days to work if necessary for project completion.
  • 17. Health and Safety Potential Issue How will the issue be avoided? Getting fatigue from staring at screen too long Take frequent breaks depending on how long I’ve been working for Could catch COVID or some other extended illness Make sure there is always work on my home PC to do as well
