Paste your project notes into Planner and your project schedule schedule appears in a matter of seconds.

2. So -- your project notes are ready for
Planner, and you would like to see “a project
schedule in seconds”.

3. Your first step is to open Planner -- it’s an
Excel spreadsheet.

4. Upon opening Planner for the first time, you
see a big blue reminder to “Enable Content” or
“Enable Macros”. This goes away, don’t worry.

5. With macros enabled, you notice a column
called “Paste Outline Below” – that’s where
your project notes will go.

6. Next, you copy your project notes to
the clipboard.

7. With your project notes in the clipboard, you
switch back over to Planner and click “Paste”.

8. After your project notes appear, you click
the project schedule tab to see your
schedule.

9. Your project schedule appears after a
few seconds, with start and finish dates
at each level.
