This document describes MEZ-RIP-PIN ISOL welding pins and the CDW-45-3 welding gun. The pins are made of galvanized and insulated special steel and are used to fasten insulation material to metal surfaces in a single step. The pins come in various lengths from 15mm to 100mm. The welding gun is powered by 230V and is used to insert and weld the pins through insulation and into metal surfaces. It has a 10m gun cable, 5m earth cable, and weighs 18kg without cables.

1. Bring the earth cable clamps directly to the steel sheet or to the work table
2. Place insulation material on the surface
3. Insert a disked welding stud into the magnetic head of the welding gun
4. Depending on the type and thickness of the steel sheets set the welding current and time accordingly
5. Insert the welding stud till it goes through the insulation material and touches the steel sheet. Press the trigger
