*Multi-Function displays reduce visual complexity
*BUT –the visual cue does not occur until you get ‘close’
*Speech systems remove clutter and keep eyes on the road
*BUT –knowledge of the feature and commands is necessary to
enable familiarity and acceptability
*Contextual displays appear only when needed
*BUT – implementation is very tricky. Not yet a solved problem.
