                     Consider the aims of a devised performance piece of your choice, answering the questions
                     below.

What is the theme of the piece?

The Theme of the piece is Mime

Why did we choose the theme? (E.g. what was it about the theme that excited and/or inspired us.)

We chose the Theme because it’s different from what we are normally used to and Mime is a challenge
to all of us. We have been in Performances where we talk and act we body language but in this case it is
more of a body movement and your actions which is unusual for all of us.




Who is it for? (E.g. family audience, teenagers, pre-school children.)

It is for everyone but mainly teenagers because our scene are based on what teenagers go through on a
school day or outing.




What do we want our piece to do? (E.g. shock, amuse, educate.)

We want our piece to amuse our audiences because Mime is a performance that is meant for
entertainment.



What style(s) of performance will we use? (E.g. naturalism, musical theatre.)

We are using two styles of performance: Acting-Mime and Dancing



What are the dramatic possibilities of the piece? (E.g. for plot and character development,
staging.)

I would say that during the beginning of the play where the a student open the show with no outstanding
move or sounds but is about the way she uses her body to make the audience engage on her.
