This document contains summaries of biblical passages about placing one's life before God as an offering, making disciples of all nations by baptizing them and teaching them to obey God's commands, and being disciples who make other disciples. It encourages spending 20 minutes a day connecting with God and 20 minutes with others. The overarching message is about evangelism, spiritual revival, and transforming society through God's kingdom.

Some of our favorite memories with friends and family involve food, not because of the food but because of the fellowship that came with it. God also emphasizes the importance of eating together—it’s a vital part of living His Word together.
The believers in the early days of the Church of Grace were unified and like-minded—of one accord. They continued with unity of purpose as they believed and moved the truths of God’s Word. Believers today can also have a tremendous impact as we serve together in one accord.
This manual was meant as a training guide for new employees and volunteers in the Sunday Morning Bible Study program at Green Acres Baptist Church. The final document didn't embrace the hiking theme, but we liked it so much we wanted to show it off here.
Good message about the priority of loving one another as Jesus loved us. This is a critical message to get right. This is the only new commandment Jesus gave us. Why? why is loving other Christians the main way we identify ourselves as Christians? Important stuff.
God desires us to have peace (shalom) with Him; with each other; and with ourselves. He made this possible through Jesus. Statistics help us evaluate shalom in ourselves and our communities.
“I have come that you may have life and have it to the full” John 10:10
How do screens contribute to shalom? How do they detract from shalom?
Everything has a beginning; a start. Being in the middle of a thing can slow you down, take away some of your verve. Nearing the end, some increase speed to get there while others do whatever they can to put it off. Know where you are in the process and act accordingly.
This was a talk I gave on July 14, 2018 at the CrossDriven Young Adults Fellowship held in GCF South Metro.
Rated R wrestles with the crucial need of building relationships in the context of a life-giving spiritual community.

In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.

Homily: The Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity Sunday 2024.docxJames Knipper
Countless volumes have been written trying to explain the mystery of three persons in one true God, leaving us to resort to metaphors such as the three-leaf clover to try to comprehend the Divinity. Many of us grew up with the quintessential pyramidal Trinity structure of God at the top and Son and Spirit in opposite corners. But what if we looked at this ‘mystery’ from a different perspective? What if we shifted our language of God as a being towards the concept of God as love? What if we focused more on the relationship within the Trinity versus the persons of the Trinity? What if stopped looking at God as a noun…and instead considered God as a verb? Check it out…

2. Romans 12:1-2 (MSG)
So here's what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your
everyday, ordinary life - your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and
walking-around life - and place it before God as an offering.
Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for
Him. 2 Don't become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit
into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God.
You'll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what He
wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around
you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God
brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you.
3. THE MISSION NEVER CHANGES
Matthew 28:19-20 (NIV)
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing
them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the
Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I
have commanded you. And surely I am with you always,
to the very end of the age."
