2. 2
Proverbs 4:23 Keep thy heart
with all diligence; for out
of it are the issues of life.
Life
feelings, will, and intellect
What we set our heart
upon will determine the
kind of life that we have.
3. 3
Mark 12:29-31 (KJV) And Jesus answered
him, The first of all the Commandments is, Hear, O
Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: And thou
shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and
with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with
all thy strength: this is the first Commandment.
31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt
love thy neighbor as thyself. There is none other
commandment greater than these.
Set your heart on God with all that you are.
No reservations!
4. 4
John 14:21 (KJV) He that hath My Command-
ments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth Me:
and he that loveth Me shall be loved of My
Father, and I will love him, and will manifest
Myself to him.
It is in willingly obeying
all of the Word of God
that we demonstrate our
love for Him.
Willing
5. 5
When God says, “Keep thy heart.”
That includes our feelings or emotions.
Don’t let your emotions set the
course of your life.
Keep your emotions in line with
God’s Word, the Bible.
6. 6
“Keep thy heart” also includes our will.
What are you determined to be?
Let us be determined to be the children of the Most
High God in every sense of being His.
7. 7
Matthew 5 44-45 But I say unto you, Love your
enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to
them that hate you, and pray for them which
despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye
may be the children of your Father which is in
Heaven: for He maketh His sun to rise on the evil
and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and
on the unjust.
We must be -- in word and deed, in
attitude and mindset --
the children of the Most High God.
8. 8
Finally, the heart includes the intellect.
Romans 12 2 And be not conformed to this world:
but be ye transformed by the renewing of your
mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and
acceptable, and perfect, Will of God.
Keep your mind in line with the Word of God.
Learn to think Biblically.
Colossians 3 2 Set your affection on things
above, not on things on the earth.
9. 9
Proverbs 4:24 Put away from thee a froward
mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee.
Froward means to be habitually disposed to
disobedience and opposition; willfully contrary.
Perverse is to be turned away from what is
good or right.
Don’t ever call evil good or good evil.
10. 10
25 Let thine eyes look right
on, and let thine eyelids
look straight before thee.
26 Ponder the path of thy
feet, and let all thy ways be
established. 27 Turn not to
the right hand nor to the left:
remove thy foot from evil. Focus on Jesus.
Don’t be distracted!
12. 12
This is the Wisdom of a victorious life.
Guard Feelings,
will, and
intellect.
Refuse to be
distracted from
your close walk
with God.
Keep your
thoughts, words, deeds, attitudes, and
mindsets in line with who you are --
a son or daughter of the Most High God.
Be who you are!
