Each summer, MATC interns work with transportation professionals to provide themselves with experiences that will assist them when they enter the field of transportation research.

• Nearly 10,000 miles of roads
• Over 3,500 bridges
• Over 300 traffic signals
• 8 districts.

• ITE Change and Clearance Intervals.
• Temporary Traffic Control.

4. North Platte Signals
• Design removal, wiring
diagram, and installation
sheets.

5. ITE Change and Clearance Intervals
• Collect data on all NDOT signalized
intersections.
• Approach speed, approach grade, and width.

6. Temporary Traffic Control
• Driveway Assistance Device (DAD).
• Two-way one lane signal timings.
• Sign and barrel locations.

7. Trips
• N-370 and 150th St. signal near Omaha.
• District 2 Operations Center.
• US-81 and 48th Ave. Columbus.
