Madison Vater, a second-year architectural engineering student at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, completed her first internship at Benesch through the MATC program. At Benesch, she worked on projects related to ADA standards and civil design, gaining valuable skills in problem solving, adaptability, and new CAD software. She found her experience to be impactful and looks forward to continuing her internship next summer.

NE. I am a second year in the Architectural
Engineering program at the University of Nebraska
at Omaha. Working for Benesch this summer was
my first internship both through the MATC program
and in general.

• My experience with MATC was truly amazing. The internship they connected me to with Benesch taught
me so many useful skills. Despite the difference between Architectural and Civil Engineering I can
already see the versatility of the skills they equipped me with and look forward to continuing my
internship with them next summer.
