2. In general…
You will create an evaluation (TEVAL) for each of the classes that you are teaching.
When will I need to have them completed?
You will need to have all the evaluations created before midnight of
Wednesday 4/17/13.
Why? Because at 2:00 AM the morning of Thursday 4/18/13, emails will
automatically be sent to 136-150 students explaining that they will soon
be taken to a computer to complete a TEVAL survey for each of the ELP
classes they are enrolled in. Also the TEVALS will be made available to the
students at this time and your access to them will be automatically
blocked.
How long will it take me to create my TEVALS?
You might want to plan about 15 minutes per TEVAL.
The first one will probably take you a little longer. The last one will take
a little less time.
Great! …So how do I get started?
3. 1. Log on to your K-state Online
Organizer page.
2. Select one of the classes you will
be creating a TEVAL for and go to
that class page.
3. On the class page select Tools
and go to the Tools page.
4. On the tools page select Online TEVAL
5. You will be asked to enter your
eID and password.
4. 6. Select Create New TEVAL
7. You will have to fill out the information
on the Faculty Information Form: Required
Class Data page.
8. Then select the Save and Continue
button in the lower right hand corner.
5. 9. The next page contains optional
self explanatory questions you can
answer if you would like.
10. Select Save and Continue in the
lower right hand corner when you
are ready to continue.
11. Make no changes to the
Template Selection page.
Select Save and Select to continue.
12. Make no changes to the
Additional Questions page.
Select Save and Select to continue.
6. 13. On the Import K-State Online
Roster page use the drop down
Select a Course down arrow to…
14.Select a Course (Fall 2012)
15. the Select a Section box
16. Select Import Roster
17. Verify the Student
Roster is correct.
18. Select TEVAL Dates in the lower right
hand corner.
7. 19. The From and To dates must be
4/18/13 and 4/26/13.
Reminders will be emailed until the
student completes the TEVAL.
20. You select how often you want
reminders emailed (I chose every 2
days).
21. You also select how many
reminders are emailed. I left mine
blank so the reminders continue until
the student either completes the
TEVAL or 4/26/13 comes and goes.
Now move to the bottom half of the page and
depending on which level of class you have, use
one of the next two slides.
