This document summarizes the Dansk Kulturarv project funded by the Danish Ministry of Culture with €10 million to digitize and disseminate 520,000 hours of TV, radio, and film content from DR's archives. As of 2011, 86% of radio and 22% of TV content was digitized, but only 1% of film. The goals are to digitize as much content as possible by 2014, make it openly accessible online, and share it across cultural institutions on a new domain. The project uses open-source tools and modular architecture to digitize, catalog, store, and share Denmark's cultural heritage online.
