The 9th Annual Embraer Day presentation discusses the current state of the executive jet market. Orders and deliveries of business jets have declined sharply in 2008, with the second half of the year possibly being the worst since 2003. Business jet traffic in both the US and Europe is down significantly compared to the previous year, with reductions in traffic comparable to those seen after 9/11. The fractional jet market has also weakened, with the number of jet shares being negotiated down substantially.
