This is a slideshow of my evaluation of my music video portfolio for my A-Level media studies course. The song we chose was 'Memories' by Weezer.
Settings and locations [repaired]

Evaluation of The Music Video Portfolio

Dayos research and planning powerpoint for evaluation 2014

- 1. GENRE: FOLK/INDIE/ACOUSTIC Nishat Hossain
- 3. Why did we pick this particular genre? • We have many other artists that we are familiar with, e.g. Taylor Swift to look at for inspiration and ideas. • Looking at the conventions of this genre it is clear to see that the clips usually take part in daylight which is appropriate for us as students to go out and film as opposed to grime/RNB which would most likely take place at night time which wouldn’t be as appropriate. • We have a variety of different settings in mind such as different parks, tube stations etc. • The settings include a school scene which is extremely appropriate as we have the sir john cass building. • The camera angles and editing techniques we have identified from other music videos are all things which we know how to do which is useful.
