We all have good and bad thoughts from time to time and situation to situation. We are bombarded daily with spiraling thoughts(both negative and positive) creating all-consuming feel , making us difficult to manage with associated suffering. Good thoughts are like our Mob Signal (Positive thought) amidst noise(negative thought) in the atmosphere. Negative thoughts like noise outweigh positive thoughts. These thoughts often create unwanted confusion, trouble, stress and frustration in our mind as well as chaos in our physical world. Negative thoughts are also known as “distorted thinking”.

Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.

Although her skin looks like
it is glowing it does not
appear to have any heavy
make up on. Everything is
kept extremely neutral.
Out of everything on her
face, the one feature that is
slightly more emphasized
with the make up is her
lips. They look moisturized
and are glossy in a neutral
pink shade which could
connote innocence.
3. The main singer in Echosmith has very
similar makeup to Taylor Swift. Once
again, the skin looks immaculate and fresh
without looking like there's any apparent
make up on.
Both have curly ringlets in their hair
and she has dip dye blond hair which
adds a sense of unruliness and fits
well with the ‘folk indie’ genre.
Once again, the lips are the
main feature on the face as
they seem full and glossy
looking. The colour is
always a pink which once
again connotes innocence.
4. We tried to create a similar
look for Shannon as seen in
this picture.
No face make up such as foundation
was used as we wanted to keep the
natural theme going. Also, Shannon
naturally has good skin and there was
no blemishes that needed correcting.
We decided to use a slightly
darker pink instead of a nude
one as we wanted the camera to
pick some colour up on her face.
Shannon also has dip
dye hair which we
were happy about!
5. In terms of jewellery we wanted Shannon to be
wearing something on her arms, especially during the
performance scene as it would look empty if she
didn’t. however, like the make up we wanted it to be
kept to the bare minimum, and we also didn’t want it
to be anything too extravagant. Therefore we chose
these simple bracelets which Shannon wore as seen in
the bottom picture which went well with her floral
dress.
