The 1920 Summer Olympics, officially known as the Games of the 7th Olympiad, were held in Antwerp, Belgium in 1920 following the conclusion of World War I. Nearly 2,500 athletes from 29 countries participated in the Games, which featured the Olympic Oath and flag for the first time. The United States won the most medals overall, while the Games also included the debut of figure skating and ice hockey during a week of winter sports competition.
