Refection – A Prayer
-Found on the body of a death youth in Ravensbruck Concentration Camp –
O Lord, remember not only the men and women of goodwill but also those of ill-will.
Do not remember all the suffering inflicted on us; remember the fruits we have borne
thanks to this suffering – our comradeship, our loyalty, our humility, our courage, our
generosity, our greatness of heart and when they come to judgement let all the fruits
that we have borne be their forgiveness.

Tobernalt Holy Well – Garland Weekend
Next weekend 25th
– 27th
July we gather at the Holy Well to celebrate the origins of our
faith and its continued presence in our land down through the centuries. It is an
opportune time to give thanks for past generations and pray that we will hand on the
same rich faith to others in the future. The individual aspects of our faith are
celebrated at the Holy Well. We can journey along the Way of the Cross, Celebrate
the 20 mysteries of the Rosary or spend time at the various shrines. Within the
grounds is a rich tapestry of life and faith. It is a sacred place to recall St. Patrick,
acknowledge penal Ireland and acknowledge all who gently walk on this sail in
modern generations. This weekend, let us come away in prayer, as a community
united in faith, one body, one mind.
