DIVISION II TRACK & FIELD/CROSS COUNTRY TEAMS
AUSTIN, TEXAS – Senior distance runner Ewa Zaborowska of Harding University and senior distance runner
Aaron Dinzeo of California University of Pennsylvania top the 2014-15 Capital One Academic All-America®
Division II track & field/cross country teams as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America
(CoSIDA).
The Capital One Division II Academic All-America® program is being financially supported by the NCAA Division
II national governance structure to assist CoSIDA with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2014-15
Division II Academic All-America® teams program.
Zaborowska has been selected as the 2014-15 Capital One Academic All-America® of the Year for Division II
Women’s Track & Field/Cross Country, while Dinzeo has been named the 2014-15 Capital One Academic All-
America® of the Year for Division II Men’s Track & Field/Cross Country.
Zaborowska, who majored in accounting and finance with a perfect 4.00 G.P.A., is making her third-straight
appearance on the Capital One Academic All-America® Division II women’s track & field/cross country team.
She was a first-team honoree last year and a second-team selection in 2013.
The native of Wejherowo, Poland, was recently named the Lone Star Conference Outdoor Track Athlete of the
Year. She was a seven-time All-American during her career and earned all-region honors 21 times during her
career at Harding.
Zaborowska concluded her track and field career by breaking her own school record that earned her a second-
place finish in the 1,500 meters at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field National Championships. In total,
she holds nine school records.
Zaborowska took home the Great American Conference Runner of the Year title in 2012 and 2014 and she was
the 2015 M.E. Berryhill Award recipient, Harding’s top athletics department honor.
An anthropology major with a 3.89 G.P.A., Dinzeo is making his third-straight appearance on the Capital One
Academic All-America® Division II men’s track & field/cross country team.
The Sidney, Ohio, native finished his four-year standout career at California (Pa.) as a seven-time NCAA Division
II All-American. Dinzeo was tabbed the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Athlete of the Year for
cross country last fall and is one of only three runners in school history to earn All-PSAC status four times in a
career.
Dinzeo, who sat out the track & field portion of his senior season due to an injury, was the runner-up at the 2014
NCAA Cross Country Championship and was the race leader at the four-mile mark of the 10K event. He won
five individual events during the 2014 season and helped California (Pa.) to a fifth-place finish at the NCAA
Atlantic Regional Championship, the program’s best regional finish in school history.

Dinzeo is the program and PSAC record holder in the 10K and he participated in the 2014 USA Track & Field
Outdoor Championships.
Capital One Academic All-America® Women’s Track & Field/Cross Country Division II Team
Fifteen of the 45 members of the 2014-15 Capital One Academic All-America® Division II Women’s Track &
Field/Cross Country Team have a perfect 4.00 G.P.A., including four of the 15 first-team members. The 15-
member first team has an average G.P.A. of 3.90.
A total of 11 standout student-athletes were repeat selections on the 2014-15 Capital One Academic All-
America® Division II Women’s Track & Field/Cross Country Team, paced by Zaborowska being on the last three
teams.
Michelle Beavers of Southern Arkansas University finished her career with a perfect 4.00 G.P.A. as a
chemistry/biology-pre medicine major. The senior is a two-time All-Great American Conference second-team
runner and a three-time GAC All-Academic team honoree.
Breanna Hemming of Metropolitan State University of Denver, is a senior with a 4.00 G.P.A. in human
development. She is a six-time All-American, including All-America honors in the mile at the 2015 NCAA Division
II Indoor Track & Field Championships. She was the RMAC Academic Athlete of the Year during both the indoor
and outdoor track & field seasons.
Bri Leeper, a junior from West Texas A&M University, holds a perfect 4.00 G.P.A. as a broadcasting/electronic
media major. She is a two-time winner of the NCAA Elite 89 Award and she was an All-American in the 4x100
meters relay in 2013 and 2015.
Emma Love, a teammate of Leeper at West Texas A&M, finished her career with a 3.94 G.P.A. as a sports and
exercise science major. She was a 2013 NCAA Elite 89 Award winner in cross country and set the program
record in the 10K, last season. She is a two-time LSC Academic Runner of the Year in cross country and a five-
time LSC all-conference selection in track & field and cross country.
Megan Lundy, a junior at Shippensburg University, holds a perfect 4.00 G.P.A. in childhood education. She
anchored Shippensburg’s indoor and outdoor PSAC championship 4x400 relay squad. She is a three-time NCAA
qualifier, who earned All-America honors in the 400 meters at the indoor championship in 2014.
Christina O’Connor finished her career at East Stroudsburg University with a 3.74 G.P.A. as a biology major.
She is a four-time All-American in the high jump and a seven-time NCAA national qualifier. She was named the
2015 USTFCCCA Region Indoor Field Athlete of the Year.
Mallory Sanner, a senior from Seton Hill University, finished her career with a 3.79 G.P.A. as an elementary
education major. She claimed the NCAA Division II national title in the javelin with a distance of 49.43 meters in
2013 and she is a four-time All-American. She was named the 2015 the USTFCCCA Atlantic Region Field Athlete
of the Year, PSAC Field Athlete of the Year and most outstanding field athlete at the PSAC Championships
Libby Strickland is the third repeat representative on the 2014-15 Capital One Academic All-America®
Women’s Division II Track & Field/Cross Team from West Texas A&M. The junior, who has a 3.90 G.P.A. in
health sciences, is an eight-time All-American in the indoor high jump, pentathlon and outdoor 4x100.
Ada Udaya, a senior from the University of New Haven, finished her career with a 3.35 G.P.A. as a biology/pre
medicine major. The 16-time All-American has been named the USTFCCCA East Region Indoor Track Athlete
of the Year the last three seasons.
Ivy Watts, a teammate of Ada Udaya at New Haven, finished her career with a 3.97 G.P.A. in criminal justice.
She was named to the 2015 USTFCCCA Outdoor Track & Field All-East Region team and was twice selected
to the All-East Region indoor listing.

Capital One Academic All-America® Men’s Track & Field/Cross Country Division II Team
Five members of the 46-man 2014-15 Capital One Academic All-America® Division II Men’s Track & Field/Cross
Country Team have a perfect 4.00 G.P.A., including two on each of the second and third team listings. The 15-
member first team has an average 3.81 G.P.A.
A total of 18 standout student-athletes were repeat selections on the 2014-15 Capital One Academic All-
America® Division II Men’s Track & Field/Cross Country Team, including six repeat selections on the first team.
Ethan Barnes, a senior integrated sciences major from Grand Valley State with a 3.88 G.P.A., received the
NCAA Elite 89 Award at this year’s NCAA Division II Men’s Indoor Track & Field Championships. He earned All-
America honors at the national championship event, finishing third in the 800 meters.
David Cooper completed his biology degree at Tusculum College with a perfect 4.00 G.P.A., this year. He is a
two-time South Atlantic Conference Scholar-Athlete of the Year and a four-year team captain. He was twice
named an All-NCAA Southeast Region performer in cross country.
Justin Ellerbee, a senior aerospace engineering major at Cal Poly Pomona with a 3.76 G.P.A., ranked as high
as fourth this year in the pole vault. He is a three-time conference champion in the discipline and cleared 17-0
earlier this season.
Trent Fontanella, a senior from Stonehill with a 3.70 G.P.A. in criminology and psychology, was the 2014 Martin
Male Scholar-Athlete Award winner. He is a three-time USTFCCCA All-East Region award winner in cross
country and has been named to the All-Northeast-10 team four times during his career.
Johnnie Guy, a junior with a 3.57 G.P.A. in engineering at Southern Indiana, captured the NCAA Division II
national championship in the 10K in 2014. He is a five-time All-American in cross country, 3,000 meters, 5,000
meters and the 10K. He was the 2014 GLVC Cross Country Runner of the Year, 2014-15 GLVC Indoor Track
Athlete of the Year and the 2014-15 NCAA Midwest Region Track Athlete of the Year.

Nick Kirkpatrick, a teammate of Fontanella’s at Stonehill with a 3.75 G.P.A. as a junior electrical engineering
major, is a two-time All-American in the distance medley relay. He is a four-time All-Northeast-10 honoree and
was part of the program’s school record 4x800 relay squad.
Payson Maydew, a junior from Emporia State with a 3.81 G.P.A. in accounting, is the school record holder in
the decathlon and the heptathlon. He is a four-time All-American in the multi-events after finishing third at the
national championships in the decathlon this year.
Kevin Naceanceno, a senior at Harding with a 3.96 G.P.A. in biochemistry and molecular biology, placed fourth
at the 2015 Lone Star Conference Indoor Championships in the 400 meters. He was named to the 2014 LSC
Outdoor Track & Field All-Academic squad.
Andrew McLain, a graduate student at Lewis with a 3.91 G.P.A. in organizational leadership, won the GLVC
title in the 10K in 2015 to set a new school record. He earned All-America honors in 2015 at the indoor national
championship in the 3,000 meters and 5,000 at the 2014 national outdoor title event in the 5,000 meters.
Baptiste Moreu, a senior finance major with a 3.65 G.P.A. from West Texas A&M, is the current record holder
in the Lone Star Conference in the mile. He finished in fourth place in the mile at the NCAA Division II Indoor
National Championship to earn All-America honors. He currently holds five program records.
Alan Peterson, a graduate student with a 3.71 G.P.A. in the college student affairs leadership program at Grand
Valley State, earned All-America honors with a ninth place finish at the 2014 NCAA Division II Men’s Cross
Country National Championship.
David Reinhardt, a junior with a 3.74 G.P.A. in exercise science at Slippery Rock, won the NCAA Division II
national championship in the javelin in 2014. This season, he earned All-Region honors in the hammer and
javelin following a strong showing at the PSAC Championships.
Clint Rosser, a 2013 NCAA Elite 89 Award winner at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Men’s Track & Field
Championships from the University of California, San Diego, has a 3.97 G.P.A. in environmental engineering.
The three-time CoSIDA Academic All-America® selection placed third in the pole vault at the 2015 CCAA
Championships, helping his program capture it first-ever conference title.
Dillon Schrodt, a senior math education major with a 3.87 G.P.A. from University of Nebraska at Kearney,
earned All-America honors in the heptathlon with a fourth-place finish in 2015. He is a four-time All-American
and was named the 2015 UNK Co-Male Senior Athlete of the Year.
Austin Shaffer, a junior petroleum engineering major with a 3.98 G.P.A. at Colorado School of Mines, was a
2013 All-American in the distance medley relay. He is a four-time RMAC All-Academic first-team honoree and
was the 2013-14 RMAC Scholar-Athlete of the Year award winner.
Scott Whitaker, a senior communications arts major with a 3.86 G.P.A. at Malone University, is an eight-time
member of the GLIAC Academic Excellence team. He helped Malone to a ninth-place finish at the 2014 NCAA
Division II Men’s Cross Country Championship and he was a 2014 outdoor national qualifier in the 1,500 meters.
Bryan Wilcox, a senior accounting major at Stonehill with a 3.71 G.P.A., is a five-time USTFCCCA All-Region
honoree in cross country, the 5,000 meters and the 10K. He was part of three NE-10 cross country championship
teams and Stonehill’s 2013 indoor conference championship team.

SPOTLIGHT CAPITAL ONE ACADEMIC ALL-AMERICA® DIVISION II TRACK & FIELD/CROSS COUNTRY TEAMS AUSTIN, TEXAS – Senior distance runner Ewa Zaborowska of Harding University and senior distance runner Aaron Dinzeo of California University of Pennsylvania top the 2014-15 Capital One Academic All-America® Division II track & field/cross country teams as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). The Capital One Division II Academic All-America® program is being financially supported by the NCAA Division II national governance structure to assist CoSIDA with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2014-15 Division II Academic All-America® teams program. Zaborowska has been selected as the 2014-15 Capital One Academic All-America® of the Year for Division II Women’s Track & Field/Cross Country, while Dinzeo has been named the 2014-15 Capital One Academic All- America® of the Year for Division II Men’s Track & Field/Cross Country. Zaborowska, who majored in accounting and finance with a perfect 4.00 G.P.A., is making her third-straight appearance on the Capital One Academic All-America® Division II women’s track & field/cross country team. She was a first-team honoree last year and a second-team selection in 2013. The native of Wejherowo, Poland, was recently named the Lone Star Conference Outdoor Track Athlete of the Year. She was a seven-time All-American during her career and earned all-region honors 21 times during her career at Harding. Zaborowska concluded her track and field career by breaking her own school record that earned her a second- place finish in the 1,500 meters at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field National Championships. In total, she holds nine school records. Zaborowska took home the Great American Conference Runner of the Year title in 2012 and 2014 and she was the 2015 M.E. Berryhill Award recipient, Harding’s top athletics department honor. An anthropology major with a 3.89 G.P.A., Dinzeo is making his third-straight appearance on the Capital One Academic All-America® Division II men’s track & field/cross country team. The Sidney, Ohio, native finished his four-year standout career at California (Pa.) as a seven-time NCAA Division II All-American. Dinzeo was tabbed the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Athlete of the Year for cross country last fall and is one of only three runners in school history to earn All-PSAC status four times in a career. Dinzeo, who sat out the track & field portion of his senior season due to an injury, was the runner-up at the 2014 NCAA Cross Country Championship and was the race leader at the four-mile mark of the 10K event. He won five individual events during the 2014 season and helped California (Pa.) to a fifth-place finish at the NCAA Atlantic Regional Championship, the program’s best regional finish in school history.

Capital One Academic All-America® Women’s Track & Field/Cross Country Division II Team Fifteen of the 45 members of the 2014-15 Capital One Academic All-America® Division II Women’s Track & Field/Cross Country Team have a perfect 4.00 G.P.A., including four of the 15 first-team members. The 15- member first team has an average G.P.A. of 3.90. A total of 11 standout student-athletes were repeat selections on the 2014-15 Capital One Academic All- America® Division II Women’s Track & Field/Cross Country Team, paced by Zaborowska being on the last three teams. Michelle Beavers of Southern Arkansas University finished her career with a perfect 4.00 G.P.A. as a chemistry/biology-pre medicine major. The senior is a two-time All-Great American Conference second-team runner and a three-time GAC All-Academic team honoree. Breanna Hemming of Metropolitan State University of Denver, is a senior with a 4.00 G.P.A. in human development. She is a six-time All-American, including All-America honors in the mile at the 2015 NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships. She was the RMAC Academic Athlete of the Year during both the indoor and outdoor track & field seasons. Bri Leeper, a junior from West Texas A&M University, holds a perfect 4.00 G.P.A. as a broadcasting/electronic media major. She is a two-time winner of the NCAA Elite 89 Award and she was an All-American in the 4x100 meters relay in 2013 and 2015. Emma Love, a teammate of Leeper at West Texas A&M, finished her career with a 3.94 G.P.A. as a sports and exercise science major. She was a 2013 NCAA Elite 89 Award winner in cross country and set the program record in the 10K, last season. She is a two-time LSC Academic Runner of the Year in cross country and a five- time LSC all-conference selection in track & field and cross country. Megan Lundy, a junior at Shippensburg University, holds a perfect 4.00 G.P.A. in childhood education. She anchored Shippensburg’s indoor and outdoor PSAC championship 4x400 relay squad. She is a three-time NCAA qualifier, who earned All-America honors in the 400 meters at the indoor championship in 2014. Christina O’Connor finished her career at East Stroudsburg University with a 3.74 G.P.A. as a biology major. She is a four-time All-American in the high jump and a seven-time NCAA national qualifier. She was named the 2015 USTFCCCA Region Indoor Field Athlete of the Year. Mallory Sanner, a senior from Seton Hill University, finished her career with a 3.79 G.P.A. as an elementary education major. She claimed the NCAA Division II national title in the javelin with a distance of 49.43 meters in 2013 and she is a four-time All-American. She was named the 2015 the USTFCCCA Atlantic Region Field Athlete of the Year, PSAC Field Athlete of the Year and most outstanding field athlete at the PSAC Championships Libby Strickland is the third repeat representative on the 2014-15 Capital One Academic All-America® Women’s Division II Track & Field/Cross Team from West Texas A&M. The junior, who has a 3.90 G.P.A. in health sciences, is an eight-time All-American in the indoor high jump, pentathlon and outdoor 4x100. Ada Udaya, a senior from the University of New Haven, finished her career with a 3.35 G.P.A. as a biology/pre medicine major. The 16-time All-American has been named the USTFCCCA East Region Indoor Track Athlete of the Year the last three seasons. He is a four-time All-Northeast-10 honoree and was part of the program’s school record 4x800 relay squad. Payson Maydew, a junior from Emporia State with a 3.81 G.P.A. in accounting, is the school record holder in the decathlon and the heptathlon. He is a four-time All-American in the multi-events after finishing third at the national championships in the decathlon this year. Kevin Naceanceno, a senior at Harding with a 3.96 G.P.A. in biochemistry and molecular biology, placed fourth at the 2015 Lone Star Conference Indoor Championships in the 400 meters. He was named to the 2014 LSC Outdoor Track & Field All-Academic squad. Andrew McLain, a graduate student at Lewis with a 3.91 G.P.A. in organizational leadership, won the GLVC title in the 10K in 2015 to set a new school record. He earned All-America honors in 2015 at the indoor national championship in the 3,000 meters and 5,000 at the 2014 national outdoor title event in the 5,000 meters. Baptiste Moreu, a senior finance major with a 3.65 G.P.A. from West Texas A&M, is the current record holder in the Lone Star Conference in the mile.
