Donny Ray Brown is a college recruiting consultant with over 30 years of experience in college athletics recruitment. He played basketball at Providence College under Coach Rick Pitino. As a consultant, he has helped over 500 student athletes secure over $30 million in scholarships. He founded IFSIP, LLC in 2014 to provide recruiting guidance to high school athletes and their parents to navigate the college recruitment process.

With over 30 years of College Athletic Recruiting Experience, Donny Ray has a lifelong
passion for all sports. As a high school athlete from Los Angeles, California Verbum Dei High
School 1979-1982 and Mc Donald’s All American Nominee, he was recruited by some of the major
NCAA Division I Men’s basketball programs as early as his sophomore year of high school. As a
former collegiate athlete, Donny Ray played for Hall of Fame Basketball Coach Rick Pitino and
alongside Oklahoma City Thunder Head Coach Billy Donavon in the backcourt at Providence
College Men’s Basketball program from 1982 – 1986. Competing in the Big East Conference was
an experience of a lifetime. Donny Ray was the First California Native to play basketball in the Big
East Conference.
As a former high school coach, Donny Ray worked with high school student athletes and helped
develop them on and off the court using his valuable knowledge and experience. Donny Ray is a
father of 5 children. The oldest son DJ was a former NCAA college wrestler and currently pursuing a
Master’s Degree in education at Northeastern University. Son number two, Matthew is a Harvard
graduate, former basketball and football player who currently holds the student athlete record for
most Ivy League Championships (7) and is working on Wall Street. His third son Andrew is in his
junior year at Springfield College where he is the starting halfback on the football team. Ryan son
number four is a freshman at Hussen College in Maine. Last but not least his daughter Morgan has
recently been accepted in admission to Georgetown University for the fall 2016.
Donny’s lifelong passion is working with high school student athletes and their parents guiding them
through the College Athletic Recruiting Process. Donny Ray Brown, a former NCAA participant,
parent of three NCAA participants and consultant of over 500 NCAA participants of whom have
secured over $30,000,000.00 in scholarship monies.
