‘In your face’ or ‘behind your back’? That's a question that triggers people. The Product Impact Tool workshop is designed to raise participants’ awareness of the opportunities they have for influencing peoples’ behaviour through product design. As the tool is both meant for analysing product impact and for supporting design, these two functions are addressed with examples and hands-on exercises.

DRIVE | cultural heritage in virtual world (Part 2)CLICKNL
Wouldn't it be fantastic to experience the heritage of the past - environments, buildings, historical events and stories in a Virtual Reality environment? Which new VR technologies are currently available to present this, and what is the extra value that VR technologies give to the human experience of the past (images, motion, sound, talk etc.) The cross-over pilot provides an overview of the state-of-the-art of Virtual Reality and 3D modelling. The cross-over shows us a wide range of perspectives and possibilities that can teach us about the exploitability and extra value of these ‘VR-thrills and -experiences’.
What will the future of healthcare look like if doctors and designers really work together in teams? Can Dutch Health Design become leading in global healthcare innovations? Health entrepreneurs and innovators will share the latest insights on the future of healthcare from Silicon Valley’s Digital Health Bootcamp and Health 2.0 conference 2015.
To develop and sustain a vibrant and competitive creative industries sector, companies and entrepreneurs have to capture a significant part of the value (in monetary terms) they create for their clients in other domains of the economy. Business model innovation is crucial to achieving this. During this session, Ieva Rozentale, PhD researcher at the University of Amsterdam, working on the NWO- supported project, Battle of the Souls (BOTS), shows that despite the current rhetoric about business model innovation, most design consultancies apply a single, outdated ‘generic’ model. Entrepreneurs from the creative industries will comment on the presentation and share their experiences making serious business from cross-overs.

Technological developments move forward extremely rapidly. The connectivity and use of technology continues to grow exponentially, however complex new technology is poorly-understood and little used by many people.
Smart Industry: design to understand & use
The creative industry is able to translate technology into validated, accepted products and services and will make a difference in improving, rethinking and renewing technology-driven products and services that can be used by more people to improve their quality of life.
A broad variety of opportunities at the horizon. Let’s start with a basic in life, we have to eat three times a day. So let us focus on the way we produce and consume food.

Berkeley International in Trends: International Business - Belgium conquers t...Berkeley International
Berkeley International aanvaardt alleen mensen
