Introduction to Brain Gym ( 26 Brain Gym movements)
2 x 2. 5 – 3.00 hour sessions Brain Gym in the Classroom e.g am and pm session. ?
Outline of content: “Brain Gym® workshop ( 2 .5 – 3. Hours)
– using movement to improve learning readiness. This workshop will give participants an overview
of some ways to support students to “learn how to learn”, using some basic Brain Gym
movements. There are 26 Brain Gym movements and this workshop will use about 8 movements.
Course covers :
Fun ideas to use Brain Gym movements effectively in the classroom including PACE, Lazy
8s, Eye Tracking and Buttons for reading and writing, and whole body movements .
Understanding some of the physiology behind learning and Brain Gym movements
Encouraging students to monitor their own learning state and improve learning readiness.
Question and Answer forum - how to start with Brain Gym in the Class
