TRAINING OBJECTIVES
Weaving is a traditional art of this region. The skill of weaving and rug making
involves creativity. The contents of this course provide students with an exposure to
the process of fabric manufacturing.
This course is aimed at providing skills to the special children with various specialty
groups. This is a specialized flexible course based on 100% practical. The trainees
will gain the basic skills of weaving and rug making which will enable them to
become an active member of the society as well as to earn their livelihood.

 Identify various types of threads.
 Work with various materials.
 Warp the loom.
 Transfer the thread from cone to the loom.
 Use various cone in warp and weft.
