This 6-month course teaches weaving and rug making skills. The objectives are to provide skills for special needs children and enable trainees to earn a livelihood. The curriculum consists of 100% practical training over 7 hours per day for 20 weeks, covering skills like identifying threads, warping looms, and weaving techniques. Trainees will learn to work with materials, use different looms, handle problems, and finish products. The course uses foot looms, table looms, and other tools over 800 training hours spent on specific weaving topics. Upon completing the course, trainees should be able to perform weaving skills and have knowledge of the weaving process.
