To promote the platform, Wooplr ran a campaign called "Shopaholic Spotted" at a large flea market in Bangalore. At the market, Wooplr representatives took Polaroid photos of women shoppers and their purchases. The photos included information about Wooplr and invites to sign up. Over 100 women signed up for Wooplr after the event, and 72 added shopping recommendations in the following week, helping grow Wooplr's social media presence. The campaign was successful in introducing Wooplr to its target audience of women shoppers.
