4. What Are The Costs Involved?
•Partnership between Beyond the Box allows parents visit the
store, provide their name and collect their iPad.
•Parents are free to purchase their own device from elsewhere.
•Parents are free to bring along an existing iPad 3 to join the
program.
•Parents are free to upgrade to a new model of iPad at any
time throughout the program.
5. What Are The Costs Involved?
•SAMPS payment option.
•This is NOT a lease - unlike the current 1:1 laptop program
•Parents can make instalment payments throughout term 4.
•Full payment is required before delivery date.
•SAMPS cannot accept any late payments after the delivery date.

Monday 17th December 2012
•Please Note - Beyond the Box will only deliver the amount of
iPads that have been fully paid for.
6. Are There Any Additional Costs?
•There only 2 additional costs.
•All iPads are required to have a protective case.
The type of case is up to you.
SAMPS did not include this is the purchase price as cheaper cases
are available to parents locally.
•A $50 iTunes card is required to pay for a range of various apps
that are required at school. The total cost of the apps will be
slightly under $50 to provide students with change to purchase
their own educational apps. An app list will be finalised towards
the end of 2012.
7. Insurance
•In order to keep the overall costs at a minimum, SAMPS has not
included insurance on these devices.
•Parents will need to check over house and contents insurance
policies.
•Replacement iPads can be purchased through Apple at a
discounted price.
•Many third party repairers will replace the screen for a cost that
is lower than most insurance excesses.
•Apple Care is included in the price. It extends the warranty from
1 to 2 years. It does not cover accidental damage or theft.
