death of her prized love birds Romeo and Juliet. Apparently, his wife blames him for the birds'
death because the special bird feed, Formula B, which he bought for the two. Two-year old Juliet
was found dead inside the cage on March 10, and Romeo on March 11. 11 Before their death, the
two had happily stayed in the same cage for over 12 a year and never suffered major illness. But
on March 2 , their veterinarian 13 suggested that Romeo be brought to the hospital for further
check up on 14 what feared was overindulgence. 15 The manager felt mystified because if the
lovebirds died of 16 overindulgence, they should have died earlier. Both birds regularly ate the
17 special feed Formula B which apparently caused both birds to 18 overindulge. After Romeo
was brought to the hospital, Juliet was again 19 given Formula A which is less nutritious but
nonetheless a regular bird feed. 20 At the hospital, Romeo was fed with birdfeed Formula C. 21
The daily routine of the lovebirds had been unchanged according to the 22 house help. There was
clear water inside the cage. Every morning after 23 breakfast, the birds were brought to the patio
for fresh air and sunshine. 24 The cage was always kept clean. In fact, in preparation for

arrived, he seemed very upset and refused to eat. Thinking 27 that this was due to due to Juliet's
absence, the Vet brought him another 28 love bird Bianca. Romeo suddenly came alive when he
was transferred to 29 Bianca's cage. He seemed to have developed a liking for his new 30
partner. The Vet left enough stock of Formula C and suggested that for 31 the night, the two be
placed on separate cages. 32 Came 9pm, Romeo was dead. The Vet was called to take Bianca
away. 33 After paying the bill, the manager consoled his wife by saying that the 34 spirit of

1. Big Tech companies brings us many good things, but, what are so.pdfalpha1211
1. 'Big Tech' companies brings us many good things, but, what are some of the potential
downsides of these players and the influence they exert?
Group of answer choices (can choose more than one)
They are fundamentally financially profit driven and do not necessarily have the best interests of
greater society in mind
I can often use the services for free and get really useful information
There is the potential for an oligarchy or outright monopoly to form over critical societal services
We might get bored of them i.e., same logos, colours, yawn
They can assert an inordinate influence over the political and economic system
2.
True or False. 'Tech' and 'Start-Up' are so interlinked as pretty much all the big Unicorns of 2021
were technology-driven.
True
False
3.
In the context of business information systems, what is meant by 'technology push'?
It is when innovations from tech sector drive or influence developments in other societal sectors
An prime example is when a vending machine needs a shove in order to dispense goods that
have been paid for.
It is a process in AI (artificial intelligence) whereby a more advanced robot physically 'pushes' an
obsolete one out of the way.
It describes how societal needs drive technology development.

giving the suspect his Miranda rights. It applies when public safety may be in question and was

1. A transport services company provides a whole range of services t.pdfalpha1211
1. A transport services company provides a whole range of services to railway operators. Its
reputation for quality was a valuable asset in its increasingly competitive market. We are
continually looking for innovation in the way we deliver our services because the continuous
improvement of our processes is the only way to make our company more efficient, said the
companys CEO. We use a defined set of criteria to identify critical processes, each of which is
allocated a process owner by our quality steering committee. This is helped by the companys
process excellence index (EPI), which is an indicator of the way a process performs, particularly
how it is designed, controlled and improved. The EPI score, which is expressed on a scale of 1 to
100, is calculated by the process owner and registered with the quality department. With this one
figure we can measure the cost, reliability, and quality of each process so that we can compare
performance. If you dont measure, you cant improve. And if you dont measure in the correct
way, how can you know where you are? Our suggestion scheme is designed to encourage staff to
submit ideas that are evaluated and rated. No individual suggestion is finally evaluated until it
has been fully implemented. Where a team of employees puts ideas forward, the score is divided
between them, either equally or according to the wishes of the team itself. These employee

1. (Simultaneous vs. sequential moves) Two generals must choose betw.pdfalpha1211
1. (Simultaneous vs. sequential moves) Two generals must choose between the actions Fight and
not Fight, which we will label F and F. If one of the Generals chooses F while the other chooses
F, then a war ensues and is won by the General who chooses F. If both Generals choose F once
again a War ensues, but this time both Generals win with a probability of 1 /2 . The payoff for
winning the war is 6 while the payoff for losing is 0. Finally, if both Generals choose then Peace
ensues and both Generals receive a payoff of 4. However, General 1 has taken Prisoners of War
(POWs) from General 2s army. If both Generals choose F these POWs will be released and
General 2 will pay no additional cost. However, General 2 will pay an additional cost of -3 any
time there is War, representing the idea that if at least one General chooses F these POWs will
not be released (and may be mistreated...)
(a) (5 points) Assume the Generals move simultaneously. Based on the payoffs above, build the
22 payoff matrix associated with the simultaneous move game. Find the games Nash
Equilibrium. (Note that if both choose F, then they both win with probability 1 /2 , meaning that
you need to calculate expected payoffs for the profile (F, F))
(b) (2 points) Now assume that General 1 moves first, and construct the Extensive Form Game
Tree to represent the game.
(c) (5 points) Use Backward Induction to find the games SPEs when General 1 moves first. (Tree
with arrows is sufficient)
(d) (2 points) Now assume that General 2 moves first, and construct the Extensive Form Game
Tree to represent the game.
(e) (5 points) Use Backward Induction to find the games Subgame Perfect Nash Equilibria when
General 2 moves first. (Tree with arrows is sufficient)
Now assume General 2 successfully rescues his or her hostages. The game remains exactly the
same, except that General 2 no longer pays an additional cost of -3 whenever there is a War.
(f) (5 points) For the game without POWs, assume the Generals move simultaneously and build
the associated 22 payoff matrix. Find the Nash Equilibrium.
(g) (2 points) Now assume that General 1 moves first, and construct the Extensive Form Game
Tree to represent the game.
(h) (5 points) Use Backward Induction to find the games Subgame Perfect Nash Equilibria when
General 1 moves first. (Tree with arrows is sufficient)
(e) (4 points) Write a short paragraph about why the SPE in (1c) is different from that in (1e) and
(1h), and how is that difference related to the credibility of promises or the lack of commitment?.
1. A real-world difficulty of applying utilitarianism is thata. S.pdfalpha1211
Utilitarianism faces real-world difficulties as some benefits are hard to quantify, measuring utility can be challenging, and identifying all affected stakeholders is not always straightforward. Consequentialism aims to achieve the least overall harm for society by considering the consequences of actions, but does not necessarily adhere to utilitarianism of maximizing overall benefits.

These employee
policies are supported by the companys training schemes, many of which are designed to ensure
all employees are customer focused. (

This document provides an overview of wound healing, its functions, stages, mechanisms, factors affecting it, and complications.
A wound is a break in the integrity of the skin or tissues, which may be associated with disruption of the structure and function.
Healing is the body’s response to injury in an attempt to restore normal structure and functions.
Healing can occur in two ways: Regeneration and Repair
There are 4 phases of wound healing: hemostasis, inflammation, proliferation, and remodeling. This document also describes the mechanism of wound healing. Factors that affect healing include infection, uncontrolled diabetes, poor nutrition, age, anemia, the presence of foreign bodies, etc.
Complications of wound healing like infection, hyperpigmentation of scar, contractures, and keloid formation.

LAND USE LAND COVER AND NDVI OF MIRZAPUR DISTRICT, UPRAHUL
This Dissertation explores the particular circumstances of Mirzapur, a region located in the
core of India. Mirzapur, with its varied terrains and abundant biodiversity, offers an optimal
environment for investigating the changes in vegetation cover dynamics. Our study utilizes
advanced technologies such as GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and Remote sensing to
analyze the transformations that have taken place over the course of a decade.
The complex relationship between human activities and the environment has been the focus
of extensive research and worry. As the global community grapples with swift urbanization,
population expansion, and economic progress, the effects on natural ecosystems are becoming
more evident. A crucial element of this impact is the alteration of vegetation cover, which plays a
significant role in maintaining the ecological equilibrium of our planet.Land serves as the foundation for all human activities and provides the necessary materials for
these activities. As the most crucial natural resource, its utilization by humans results in different
'Land uses,' which are determined by both human activities and the physical characteristics of the
land.
The utilization of land is impacted by human needs and environmental factors. In countries
like India, rapid population growth and the emphasis on extensive resource exploitation can lead
to significant land degradation, adversely affecting the region's land cover.
Therefore, human intervention has significantly influenced land use patterns over many
centuries, evolving its structure over time and space. In the present era, these changes have
accelerated due to factors such as agriculture and urbanization. Information regarding land use and
cover is essential for various planning and management tasks related to the Earth's surface,
providing crucial environmental data for scientific, resource management, policy purposes, and
diverse human activities.
Accurate understanding of land use and cover is imperative for the development planning
of any area. Consequently, a wide range of professionals, including earth system scientists, land
and water managers, and urban planners, are interested in obtaining data on land use and cover
changes, conversion trends, and other related patterns. The spatial dimensions of land use and
cover support policymakers and scientists in making well-informed decisions, as alterations in
these patterns indicate shifts in economic and social conditions. Monitoring such changes with the
help of Advanced technologies like Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems is
crucial for coordinated efforts across different administrative levels. Advanced technologies like

Changes in vegetation cover refer to variations in the distribution, composition, and overall
structure of plant communities across different temporal and spatial scales. These changes can
occur natural.

How to Make a Field Mandatory in Odoo 17Celine George
In Odoo, making a field required can be done through both Python code and XML views. When you set the required attribute to True in Python code, it makes the field required across all views where it's used. Conversely, when you set the required attribute in XML views, it makes the field required only in the context of that particular view.
