Sanctioned amount: 129.43 Crore
Funding Agency: PFC
Town Covered: Imphal, Lamsang, Wangoi, Yairipok, Wangjing, Heirok,
Sugnu, Jiribam, Tamenglong, Ukhrul, Kangpokpi and Sekmai.
Progress:
i. New DTR Installed - 164 nos. out of 225 nos.
ii. Stringing of New 11KV ACSR Conductor - 85 Ckt. Km out of 145 Ckt. Km.
iii. Stringing of Aerial Bunched Cable - 496 Km. out of 1103 km.
iv. Installation of Prepaid meter - 35,100 Nos. out of 35,100 nos.
Target Date of Completion :- September, 2021

Progress: Work awarded on Turn-key Firm(TKF) mode to M/s Shyama Power
Quantities: 2 lakh pre-paid meters
Installation and activation of pre-paid meters is on-going.
2692 nos. of Prepaid meters were activated for Valley areas and 1622 no. of
Prepaid meters were activated for Hill areas

17. Covid effect and Anticipated Revenue Gap
The Covid Pandemic has badly affected the Revenue Collection.
Even after the tariff hike of 16.29%, the revenue collection for April and
May, 2021 has fallen below the expected revenue of Rs. 30 crore per
month (Rs. 20 crore collection per month).
As the Covid situation is not likely to improve in the near future, the
anticipated revenue gap is as detailed below:
