Technology Dissemination
• Raising of nursery to be ensured from 25th May to 20th
June.
• Transplanting of paddy : 15% by 15th June, 30% by 30th
June, 50% by 7th July and 5% by 25th July for scented
rice.
• Location specific crop planning and adaption of
recommended practices.
• 17000 "Million Farmers School" (Kisan Pathshala) to be
held during Kharif 2022 in 59073 Gram Panchayats.

• Intensification of modern extension techniques
through Mass Media, Kisan call center, mobile
message/app.
• Farmer’s Fair in each agro climatic zone and at
District/ block level.
• Farmer’s Meeting (Gosthies) at state/ division/
district and block level.
• Agricultural advisory to farmer on regular interval
through m-kisan portal.

• Crop wise micro planning at gram panchayat
level.
• Promotion of SRI system and hybrid seed in rice.
• Popularization of Drum seeder for direct sowing
of rice.
• Crop demonstrations at farmer’s field under
different scheme- NFSM, NFSM (OS/TBO) ATMA,
PKVY, CDP, Namami Gange and Natural Farming etc.
• More than 2.00 lakh farmers are to be trained
under Farm school and different
programme/schemes.

• UP State has achieved 45% SRR against the target of
44 % SRR in Kharif-2021.
• SRR target is being set on 46% for Kharif 2022.
• 8.41 lakh quintal seed has been distributed against the
target of 8.20 lakh quintal in Kharif-2021.
• 8.56 lakh quintals seed distribution target is being
set for Kharif -2022.
• 3.04 lakh quintals Hybrid seed has been distributed
against the target of 3.07 lakh quintal in Kharif –
2021.
• 3.07 lakh quintal Hybrid seed distribution target is
being set for Kharif -2022.

• Subsidy on the seed is being provided as per norms of
GOI & Govt .of UP.
• Subsidy is being transferred to the registered
farmers through DBT.
• State sector subsidy equivalent to central subsidy is
being provided on additional seed distributed
over/above targets of Central schemes and in those
districts which are not covered under Central
schemes.
• Variety wise and district wise requirement of seeds
is being finalized and arrangement made up with
UPSDC. 15

• Ensuring availability of quality pesticides through 50347
Government & Private Sell points.
• A target of 9740 MT/KL has been fixed for Kharif 2022. In
Kharif 2021, 8870.53 MT/KL pesticides were distributed.
• Bio-pesticide distribution is being promoted through 9 IPM
Labs established in the State.
• In Kharif 2022, 2800 MT/KL target has been fixed for bio-
pesticides distribution and 2104.46MT/KL was distributed in
Kharif 2021.

• For demonstrations, Natural farming has been taken
up in 5 State Agriculture Universities, KVKs, SIMA
Rehmankheda and 10 RATDS.
• Two State level conferences have been organised at
C.S.A. Agri. & Tech. University, Kanpur and B.H.U.,
Varanasi on 22.01.2020 & 16.12.2021 respectivily.
• Total 286915 farmers have been trained in last two
years.
• More than 75000 ha. area has been proposed in 50
districts under BPKP including 5 Km Stretch on both
sides of River Ganga in 27 districts.

1- Natural Farming
• From State sector, total 47000 ha. area has been
proposed in 7 districts of Bundelkhand region.
• The scheme will be launched from Kharif 2022.
• Cluster will be formed at block level covering 500 to
1000 ha. area.
• Selection of Champion Farmer, one Senior Local
Resource Person, 2 Local Resource Person & 10
Community Resource Person at cluster level.
• State level Seminar/Training will be organised in the
month of May, 2022.
• Restoration of recommended 15% top up subsidy
before Covid period.
• Execution of schemes after approval of Hon'ble
Council of Ministers.
• Online selection of farmers through portal.
• Additional financial requirement of Rs 200 Crore
under state scheme for 5 years.
• 5000 Solar Pumps installation target in the next 6
months.
2- PM- KUSUM SCHEME
• Implementing agency wise allocation of targeted
625 Crop specific F.P.O.
• Selection of development blocks.
• The linkage of Block wise Crop specific selected
farmers by implementing agencies.
• The seleciton of cluster based business
institutions by implementing agencies.
• Combined training of mentor and representatives
of F.P.O.

  • 13. • Crop wise micro planning at gram panchayat level. • Promotion of SRI system and hybrid seed in rice. • Popularization of Drum seeder for direct sowing of rice. • Crop demonstrations at farmer’s field under different scheme- NFSM, NFSM (OS/TBO) ATMA, PKVY, CDP, Namami Gange and Natural Farming etc. • More than 2.00 lakh farmers are to be trained under Farm school and different programme/schemes. 13
  • 14. 14 14 • UP State has achieved 45% SRR against the target of 44 % SRR in Kharif-2021. • SRR target is being set on 46% for Kharif 2022. • 8.41 lakh quintal seed has been distributed against the target of 8.20 lakh quintal in Kharif-2021. • 8.56 lakh quintals seed distribution target is being set for Kharif -2022. • 3.04 lakh quintals Hybrid seed has been distributed against the target of 3.07 lakh quintal in Kharif – 2021. • 3.07 lakh quintal Hybrid seed distribution target is being set for Kharif -2022.   • 15. 15 15 • Subsidy on the seed is being provided as per norms of GOI & Govt .of UP. • Subsidy is being transferred to the registered farmers through DBT. • State sector subsidy equivalent to central subsidy is being provided on additional seed distributed over/above targets of Central schemes and in those districts which are not covered under Central schemes. • Variety wise and district wise requirement of seeds is being finalized and arrangement made up with UPSDC. 15

  • 21. • Ensuring availability of quality pesticides through 50347 Government & Private Sell points. • A target of 9740 MT/KL has been fixed for Kharif 2022.   • 25. • For demonstrations, Natural farming has been taken up in 5 State Agriculture Universities, KVKs, SIMA Rehmankheda and 10 RATDS. • Two State level conferences have been organised at C.S.A. Agri. & Tech. University, Kanpur and B.H.U., Varanasi on 22.01.2020 & 16.12.2021 respectivily. • Total 286915 farmers have been trained in last two years. • More than 75000 ha. area has been proposed in 50 districts under BPKP including 5 Km Stretch on both sides of River Ganga in 27 districts. continue..... 1- Natural Farming
  • 26. • From State sector, total 47000 ha. area has been proposed in 7 districts of Bundelkhand region. • The scheme will be launched from Kharif 2022. • Cluster will be formed at block level covering 500 to 1000 ha. area. • Selection of Champion Farmer, one Senior Local Resource Person, 2 Local Resource Person & 10 Community Resource Person at cluster level. • State level Seminar/Training will be organised in the month of May, 2022.
