Jesus tells his disciples that one of them will betray him, troubling them. When asked, Jesus cryptically identifies Judas as the betrayer by giving him bread. After taking the bread, Satan enters Judas and he leaves to betray Jesus. The others do not understand why Jesus said to hurry, suggesting Judas buy supplies, while Jesus recognizes Judas has rejected his appeal to truth and friendship in embracing deception.
