The class was split into groups and given a scenario where they had to choose which 8 of 13 people in a bunker to kill off and which 4 to keep to survive. They had to determine which 4 people would be most useful in a post-apocalyptic world after a disease. The student enjoyed the assignment as it made them consider how they would judge people's importance and abilities in such a dire situation, and what might happen to themselves or loved ones.
