The document summarizes an innovation bootcamp project that brought together companies and technology partners over 30 months to develop business cases for new micro-plastic products. Four teams participated in the first bootcamp, focusing on areas like micro-processed plastics and fiber optics. A second bootcamp focused on developing a polymer light guide demonstrator. The project helped stimulate collaboration and trust between partners to resolve challenges and craft value-adding agreements. It showed how multi-partner sprint formats can create new growth opportunities for participating organizations.

20. Concluding Remarks
« Multi partner innovation bootcamp » sprint
formats create in a short period of time additional
growth opportunities for the participating
companies and technology partners.
Succeeding in a world of interdependence entails
looking beyond the own core competences,
competitors and end consumers to the whole
ecosystem. Hence the synergy between different
partners (industry and technology partners)
creates breakthrough market driven platforms.
21. Concluding Remarks
Trust between several formerly « unknown »
partners can be stimulated and nurtured, creating
high performant « virtual » teams focusing on
resolving the most urgent challenges.
Propositions and collaboration agreements can be
crafted, that appeal to each of the key partners,
enhancing the intrinsic value of each individual
key partner.
