OBJECT:
To monitor the temperature, humidity and concentration of CO gas in room
DESCRIPTION:
In this project we will find the room temperature, humidity and concentration of carbon
monoxide by using some sensors and show them on LCD display. In this project microcontroller
plays a great role and work as brain of whole system.

Power supply:
Microcontroller basically use 5volt so we use SMPS which is followed by 5 volt voltage
regulator using 7805 ic.
Microcontroller
For this purpose we use ATMEGA328 (by AVR) which is bootloaded by ARDUINO. Arduino is
a high level language by OPEN SOURCE. At the instead of AVR microcontroller we can use
8051 or PIC microcontroller.
Sensors
Useful sensors are shown below-
Temperature sensor: LM35
Humidity sensor: DHT11
Carbon Monoxide: MQ2
LCD
LCD is used for showing the value of sensors, for this we use 16X2 alphanumeric LCD, which
has enough digits for showing these values.
Buzzer
Buzzer indicate the unwanted condition, means it notify us when atmospheric condition exceeds
the normal value.
