4. Acknowledgement
We are deeply indebted to Miss. Urvashi bhamboo
assistant professor of wisdom, Banasthali Vidyapith for
all her support and help in inspiring as to take up this
project.
Our sincere thanks to manager Mr. Shan and workers
of the Spicy Bite Canteen for their co-operation
throughout the project. At last we want to thanks our

9. In this slide unnecessary cartoons and bottles of soft
drink are placed on the work platform which are not
necessary and it will create obstacles for the workers.

10. As in this picture all cartoon and soft drink bottles are
placed on their respective places , therefore the
workers will face no difficulty and sort one of the 5s
will be obtained.

11. a. Arrange all necessary items in
order so they can easily picked
for use.
b. Prevent loss and wastage of
time.
c. Make it easy to find and pick
up necessary items.
d. Can also be translated as “set
in order”
12. • Clean your workplace completely.
• Use cleaning as inspection.
• Keep workplace safe and easy to
work.
• Can also be translated to “sweep”.
13. This slide shows the negative
practices of 5s as the work place is
not clean.

shine means keeping the workplace clean.

chatting among themselves and in other the
worker is standing and wasting his time, this
will lead delay in order delivery.

21. Lesson learnt by us
The most important thing that we know about the
importance of the 5S i.e. Shine, Straighten, Short,
Sustain, Standardize.
This project has helped us built confidence, in
ourselves. Our communication skill developed. We
learnt how to tackle with the problems. And now we are
more comfortable in interactive with others.
While preparing this project we came across some of
following management principals:

2. Principal of Espirit de corps
3. Principal of fair Remuneration
And many other principal we practice .
