1. A Travelling To Pare
On this holiday, the student of 8 and 9 grade bilingual class of Junior High School 1 Kertek
had a travelling to Pare, Kediri, East Java. The travel was make us tired. It need 16 hours to
arrived. It caused many people went home to cellebrated the new years.
We were arrived at 01.00 am on Monday. We were devided by many bed room. I was one
room with Tiara and Sukma. But, there just one mattress. So, it was very narrow, but I can
enjoyed. We were very tired, so after ate, we were slept. We just use one blanket, because
Tiara’s blanket was use to covered our cloth. And Sukma’s used her blanket to cover the
door because it was transparent. I just slept 3 hours.
I woke up at 5 o’clock. Then, I prayed on the mosque. After prayed, I had to took a bath. But,
many people said that the water was smelled not good. So, we found other place to took a
bath. I, Tiara and Sukma were took a bath in the mosque. Because it just had 2 bath room, i
took a bath with Sukma.
I went to the dorm. Then, we had breakfast. There was no spoon.Nevermind, I think. After
that, the school began at 10 am o’clock. The first teacher was Mr. Eko. He taught about
vocabulary. He gave us many vocabulary. Then, he asked to memorize the vocabulary.at
11.30 am, the class was finished. Then, we took a rest. At 12 pm, we had lunch, without
spoon again.
At 3 pm, the class was started again. The teacher was Miss Minin. She taught us about
conversation. But, in there we should read a story and memorized that. She taught not too
serious, but I could understand her.
After the claas over, i had to took a bath. I took a bath in the mosque again. After back to
the dorm, Mr. Eko was angry. He said that we shouldn’t took a bath in the mosque. It was
prohibited. After that, we took a rest with ate something. 5 minutes before the next class
start, we had dinner.
At 7 pm, there was a study club. It discuss about farewell party. Then, i and my friends were
played outside. There were many people use their bicycle. I wonder why almost the people
had a bicyle. After that, we went to the room.
I was very tired. Then, i slept after turn on the alarm.
The alarm rang. But, no one in my bed room wake up. The alarm rang, and rang. I woke to
turn off the alarm then slept again. At 04.30 i awake. I tried to took a bath with bad water.
The school start earlier than yesterday. It start at 7 o’clock. The first lesson was about
grammar. Than, the second lesson was about speaking. The teacher was Miss Eny. The third

2. lesson was voccabulary, but the teacher was Miss Minin. Mr. Eko was absent because some
reasons.
The time felt faster. I think, on second day i can enjoyed.
After the lesson finish, there was many student palyed with their bicycle. They reint with
used study card. I wonder to rent a bicyle too. But, i ididn’t brought my study card. So, that i
can’t rent a bicycle. I felt jealous with them. But, in my dorm, my teacher brought a bicycle
too. Than, i tried to borrow their bicycle. I was played with Tiara. I was very happy. Though i
can’t reint my own bicycle, i can borrow my teacher’s.
The third, fourth, and fifth day, was pass with same agenda with the second day. There was
grammar, speaking, vocabulary, in the morning, conversation in the affternoon, and study
club in the evening.
Somedays, there was a people became sick. Example, agra. She was fever. Because she
looked in serious condition, her parrents was took her home. Than, there was dinda from 9
grade. She is dehydration. I think, it because the weather. In there, the temperature was
very hot. So, that we need more water there. And many people more.
On saveral days, Miss Minin had a daily test. I got not too bad score. There was 80, on first
test, 90 on second test, and 100 on third test.
On Friday, after lesson ended, almost all of the girls on my dorm went to bought some
souvenirs or clothes. But, i did’nt follow them. I felt tired because played wit bicycle. I think i
was alone, but, there was Nuning that accompany me. She didn’t joined because she had
bought a souvenirs. I tell her that i want to bought some books. Than, she tell me that she
know a bookstore near our dorm. I was very happy heard that. Than, we went the
bookstore. We went by my teacher’s bicycle. I think, it was far. More than 200 meters from
my dorm. But, it’s ok. I saw many book.i want to bought many books. But, i just brought
100.000 rupiahs to the book store. Ah, then, i decide to brought 2 book. It just spent 45.000
rupiahs. I want to bought more books. But, Nuning was hurry to went to the dorm. So, i just
bought 2 books. The
After lesson in the afternoon, i and Nuning were find a t-shirt that there are sticker about
Pare. We should bought a black shirt. After find almost an hour, we found the black shirt
that we like. I think, it’s expensive. But, nevermind because i like it. I want to brought some
shirt again. But, i want to took my money in the ATM. Unexpected, there were no ATM from
BRI. Oh, i couldn’t took my money.
On Saturday morning, there was an agenda to took a walk to the large mosque in Pare. It
need a long time to arrived there. The mosque was very large, and also beautiful. In there,
there were a little tower beside the mosque, and a little pool in front of the mosque. The
pool was dirty, because there were many algae. On the mosque, my friends had to took

3. many photo. But, i just saw them because there was a little problem with my foot. After
that, we went to the dorm.
At 7 o’clock, the lesson was started. The test consist all of subject matter that ever teached.
The question was difficult for me. But, i did all of the question. After finished, we correct the
answer. I still remember all of my answer. Oh, i think i need more careful to do anything.
But, it’s ok.
On Sunday, there were an agenda to took a walk with used mini train. It was very
interesting. I was sit between Tiara and Nuning. During the trip, i saw many interesting
thing. There are fishpond, rice field, a place for breeder, poultry breeder, breed of bee, and
breed of worm. The train was stopped in the “Candi Surowongso” it was a beautiful temple
though it didn’t whole again. We just took many photo. Then, the trip continued to the next
temple. I think it is same with Candi Surowongso. But, it was different. I forget the name of
the second temple. I was so thirsty. But, i didn’t brought any water. In there, there were a
seller. There are, meatball, ice cream, and small pieces of meat roasted on skewer. I want to
bought an ice cream but, i prohibited to eat this. I and Tiara just waited in the edge of the
temple.
The next trip, was went to the Nusantara restaurant. In there, we will celebrated the
farewell. But, the girls didn’t know it because Miss Minin didn’t tell to us. Many people
didn’t brought the thing that will used to the farewell. Than, kika as MC went to the dorm to
took the thing that she need as MC. After kika arrived in the restaurant again, the agenda is
started. I follow the islamic dance. It was failure because the position in the stage were
different with the training. Yah, it was very bad.
After some agendas finished, it was time to lunch. Oh, i was very happy. It’s not because i
was hungry, it’s because i very thirsty. I took the food and beverages. Firstly, i drank the tea.
Then, i had just ate my lunch. After i finished, Mr. Eko was announced the best student from
8 and 9 grade. I didn’t pay much attention, because i enjoyed to played my game. Firstly, he
announced the best student from 8 grade. I just heard a little bit that he said, “let’s call our
singer, Siti Nurhaliza” hah? Isn’t anybody call my name? I was very shock. I think, it’s
immposible that the best student is me. Ya, i just went to the stage, got a prize, and back to
my seat. I was very afraid. Because, if it was false, and the true winner know thruth, what
should i do? Yah, i will wait the true winner know this.
After that, we went to the dorm. The road was very dusty. I was worried with Tiara. She will
got sick. I can’t do nothing. I just tell her to cover her mouth and nose. It was very long, until
we were arrived to the dorm. I was very tired. We were waited the buss arrived, with heard
nuning’s story. At 5 o’clock, we got outside. We waited long time until the buss arrived.
Than, we went home. I will miss you, Pare.
