2. EXPLORATION OF TECHNOLOGIES FOR
LEARNING
• iPads and TabletsUsed in my English Class
• Purpose to put my assigned readings/textbooks in one place
• Convenient, less paper waste used to print out articles we would only use one
or twice
• Micro blogs
• Used in my Psychology Class
• Purpose to organize my notes in chronological order using a Tumblr.
• Easily accessed on my Phone or Tablet, where ever there was internet
connection
• iPods/mp3 players
• Used in my Psychology Class
• Purpose record my lectures to help in me review for the exams
• Perfect way to refresh your memory especially listening to the mp3 later
while reviewing notes.

3. SYNTHESIZING YOUR EXPERIENCE
• The micro blog and the tablet technologies were the most interesting out the three
Mobile/Personal Learning tools.
• Those technologies were particularly the most convenient and fun to use. The micro blog
technology surprised me the most because I had never quite used a micro blog as a
learning tool before
• Also, as a visual and auditory learner the micro blog I used enabled me to upload any
diagrams, images, and pictures relating to psychology. I could also link up videos I find
online and post it in my micro blog along with my notes.

4. WHAT YOU’LL DO NEXT
• The learning strategies that I will continue to use in the future are note-taking and more
visual aids. I can use these strategies of learning outside of school by utilizing my tablet
technology.
• I had worked on a political campaign and thought about how easy it would be to take
down people’s information if they just typed into my device.
• For non-learning purposes, I will continue using Tumblr for more casual means such as a
journal. I think it took up a lot of my time and will look for other means of putting my notes
in a one place such as One Note. I have been experimenting with it and will try to use it in
the following semester.
