1. The transistor
The transistor is a semiconductor electronic device that performs functions of
amplifier, oscillator, switch or rectifier.
The bipolar transistor was invented at Bell Laboratories in USA. UU.in December
1947 by John Bardeen, Walter Houser Brattain, and William Bradford Shockley,
who were awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1956. It was the replacement of
three electrodes, or triode thermionic valve.
There are three settings for the amplifier.Commonemitter.The signal is applied to
the base of the transistor and is extracted by the collector.Commonbase.The signal
is applied to the emitter of the transistor and is extracted by the collector. Common
collector. The signal is applied to the base of the transistor and is extracted by the
issuer.
Currently virtually all electronic devices everyday: radios, televisions, audio and
video, players watches quartz, computers, fluorescent lamps, CT, cell phones, etc.
