The antibiotics are chemical sustances
that kills bacteria or slows
the growth of bacteria. They are used
as medicines to cure diseases caused by
bacteria. Antibiotics are not used for
viruses. Penicillin, the first natural
antibiotic, is produced by a fungus.

On the morning of September 22nd of 1928, in the
hospital of S.T. Mary,London, the professor Alexander
Fleming was doing many experiments, and when he
wanted to destroy some experiments he discovered the
Penicillium.

If we have sore throat or ear infections, sometimes
we need antibiotics.
