• However beware of Sunday, which is
traditionally regarded as the last day of a week
by Chinese

Asking about time
• Try recalling how to say ‘today’, ‘tomorrow’,
‘yesterday’, and ‘now’.
• Try asking ‘what’s the day today’ to your
friend who speaks Mandarin. Listen to his/her
answer carefully.
• What’s your answer when somebody asks you
‘míngtiān xīngqī jĭ’?
