Indigenous Australians and share his
culture through his music. The 20-year-old
has been practicing music for almost a
decade, singing songs about his heritage
and people. He was heavily influenced by
his father, Witiyana Marika, who was a
singer and dancer for popular Australian
band, Yothu Yindi.

given that he is in the beginning of his
singing career. He has a determined aim

specifically as he has come to Melbourne
to forge his singing career. He plays
Australian Rules Football which is

his goal of being a successful musician.

we are working with.

process of finalising the specifics with everyone involved,
(Yirrmal, the football club, his agent, his community and
our group)

editing as he has exceptional editing skills.

information from talent about potential
interviewing dates/times etc and camera work.

camera recording and potential interviewing of
talent.
• Everyone will also assist in recording and editing
decisions and formulating the structure of the
story.
