4. In less colorful terms…
Social media is how we stay connected. It’s how we can see what our old high
school friends are doing, what party everyone is going to tonight, or what your
parents are up to…
5.
6. Have you ever made your profile private? Or hidden photo albums from your family?
Are you tweets locked?
Privacy settings are something to be taken seriously
We all need to be aware and active
11. College students lose
scholarships or get in trouble
because of a photo album.
Teens are being stalked and
molested because they check
in everywhere they go on
foursquare.
You don’t get that job
because you tweeted about
drinking all night.

14. Let’s look at it this way….
We’re all smart people, right? If we don’t want a stranger
to know something then we simply will not post it on the
internet for a stranger to see.
You would think so anyway.
Simple would be teaching social media users to understand
privacy settings prior to opening an account. Allow users to
know what they are doing and who can see what they do
because they even submit their first status or tweet.
15. Some believe that there are no issues with social media sites and their privacy
settings. The only issues lie in the users lack of knowledge and awareness.
16. Consequences can result in our extensive use of social media sites. Think before you tweet,
post pictures, or engage in any use of these sites!
