1. Media-Film on City Life
Synopsis
City Life, Theirs two sides to city life from being poor or
the opposite being rich. We as a group are trying to
show the two sides to city life because in general people
would visualise ‘City Life’ as Famous buildings for etc.
but they don’t know the other side to city life and
that’s what we want to show in our Short film.
In our short film the poor character is played by Sathma
Nugera and our 2 rich characters are played by Michael
McCauley and Miss, we choose two people because
we want to show the two sides of how people react
seeing a poor person. Michael was the kind loving one
who felt sad for Sathma and gave money, although miss
was the mean character so she didn’t bother.
Our short film is proximately 1min and 25secs long which
is classed as a short film. In this film you would analyse
the differences between being poor and rich form city
life. As a group we are concentrating more on the poor
side because that’s what gives our audience an affect
to what message where trying to show.
The film is set on a street with both rich and poor,
although we used one poor person so that person
stands out which causes a more likely effect on that
person. The two sides to city life is our message and
you would get a clearer visual point of view from how
we desire poor to stand out, although we don’t bother
with the rich as much because the rich stand out more
than poor for city life.
