Befit street and skint
1. Befit street and skint
These 2 are very different even though they are the
same concept. Skint is based rounds story’s all over a
certainarea while benefit street is all linked together
due to it being based all one o ne street. Meaning it
was really one big story while skint was multiple
people.
Benefit Street is made in the way where all the stories
are linked and all aid each other with everyone
involved all having their own view on the same place
as well as their views on each other. This creates a
sort of environment the audience can get to know and
how people act to each other in it. This is good
because it gives somewhat of a more vibrant side to
depressing themes they have.
Skit is more bare bones with its interview and shows
more of the gritty darker sides of thing. Not trying to
make it as a comedy / entertainment tv series but
more informative and too the point. This is just
shown by the people they interview. These people
don’t really care how they appear therefor don’t
really react to the camera much and really make it
more real.
With the sequences of each film they both go
chronologicalwith previous events affecting future
events and seeing where they are at afterwards.
Diffences is that on benefit street it introduces
characters / people as the film gos on while in skint
2. we get a brief interview of everyone beforehand
knowing who we are saying.
