2. ABSTRACT
• In this paper micro solar inverter has been
designed and developed that converts DC
power to AC power.
• The micro inverter is mounted behind the solar
panel and the AC power is drawn for use in any
place and for any application.
• This means simplified installation and
management, better reliability.
3. SOLAR POWER GENERATION
• Produces a DC power.
• Depends on module design and
lighting conditions.
• Modern panels using 6-inch cells
typically contain 60 cells &
produce a nominal 30 v & 130kw.
7. PROPOSED SYSTEM
MICRO INVERTERS
Eliminates the need for all the
modules to be in one place.
Each module has its own inverter.
Own AC-generating.
More the number of modules – The
solar system produces more power
18. ADVANTAGES
• Compact in size.
• Easy to maintain.
• Easy fault rectification.
• Less expensive.
• Any house hold applications.
19. CONCLUSION
• Micro-inverters have been most successful in the
residential market, where limited space for panels
constrains array size.
• Produces application-matching power directly at the
back of the panel.
• Have become common where array sizes are small
and maximizing performance.
20. FUTURE PLANS
• We are in a plan to power up GTEC with
the use of micro inverters for the lighting
systems...
